Waldorf fourth graders receive donated spruces

DSC_0004-USELocal Edward Jones representative Bill Root, a sponsor of Fourth Grade Foresters USA, was at the Lake Champlain Waldorf School in Shelburne last Friday morning to present fourth graders with a tree of their own to plant and care for. Established in 2007, Fourth Grade Foresters has given out 505,000 trees in its effort to revitalize Arbor Day at school and bring communities and schools together to have a direct, positive impact on urban forests of their communities.
