The Shelburne, Charlotte, and South Burlington Democratic Committees will co-sponsor a screening of the documentary “Inequality for All” on Sunday, May 18 at 7pm at the Shelburne Town Offices, second floor.
The film, released in 2013 and featuring renowned economist Robert Reich, examines the ever-widening income inequality in the United States and the effects this gap has had on our economy as well as our democracy itself. The screening is free and open to the public.
“We are pleased to join with the Charlotte and South Burlington Committees in showing this important and powerful documentary. We believe it is important to give members of our community the opportunity to see this film in light of its limited availability in the theaters,” Marcella Chiarello, chair of the Shelburne Democratic Committee, stated.
Light refreshments will be served. Donations will be welcome. For further information, please call 985-8479.
