The Champlain Valley Union (CVU) JVA lacrosse team finished the last four games of the season with an offensive explosion, outscoring their opponents 37-9. The Redhawks tallied wins against Rutland (6-2), Colchester (12-2), Mount Mansfield (13-2), and Middlebury (6-3). Through the last nine games of the season the Redhawks outscored their opponents 75-18. During the last nine games the offense was led by attackmen Owen McCuin (17 points), Erich Griesser (16 points), Oliver Masson (11 points), and Charlie Bernicke (10 points). The leading scorers at the midfield position were Jeremy Fuller (7 points), Brandon Young (5 points), Michael Regan, and Braven Bose (3 points).

The defense was anchored all year by sophomores Jack Zahn, Jacobus Poelmann, and Trevor Kingston. The goaltending duties were handled by Xander Miller and Matt Murakami. Unfortunately, the team was unable to reschedule a rematch against South Burlington (their only loss of the season), but there’s always next year.
