CSWD’s Rover returns to Shelburne Aug. 16

Aug-2-T-CSWD-Rover-SThe Chittenden Solid Waste District’s (CSWD) household hazardous waste collection “Rover” is making a stop at the Shelburne Highway Garage on Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9am-1pm.
The Rover makes a stop in each town in Chittenden County once a year and accepts household hazardous leftovers such as paints and stains, automotive fluids, hobby supplies, pesticides, fertilizers, household cleaners, beauty supplies, and anything with the words “Danger,” “Caution,” “Warning,” or “Poison” on the label for free (to residents only).
Can’t make it to the Rover? If you are a Chittenden County household, bring it to the Environmental Depot. It’s open year-round and it’s free! Environmental Depot, 1011 Airport Parkway, South Burlington. Wednesday-Friday 8am-2pm; Saturday 8am-3:30pm. The Environmental Depot is available only to Chittenden County residents (free) and businesses (some fees apply).
