Fall Golf Clinic: Mike Bailey, Kwiniaska’s PGA Pro, will instruct this quick review of all the basic strokes, clubs, and fundamentals. This clinic is aimed at students who have taken previous golf instruction. The clinic dates are Saturday, Sept. 13 for grade 7-adult from 2-4pm. A Youth Clinic will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14 from 2-4pm for those in grades 2-6. The fee is $30 and will be held at Kwiniaska Golf Club in Shelburne. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, so don’t miss out!
Gentle Yoga: Join Marilyn Buchanan, Yoga Roots instructor, for this class with attention to good alignment, stretches, and simple assists. Build strength, find new muscle, and new flexibility.  This class is great for yoga beginners, those challenged with an injury, or those who simply want to enhance personal Yoga practice. This class meets Tuesdays from 9:30-10:30am for $110.  Session 1: Sept. 16-Oct. 21. Session 2: Oct. 28- Dec. 9 (no class on Nov. 25) Pre-registration is required.
After School Tennis Lessons: Hit the courts after school to brush up on your tennis skills. Join CVU Girls’ Tennis Coach, Amy DeGroot, for instruction and practice. Check the website for schedule, details, and fees. Bring your own racquet.
Beginner White Belt Karate: This program will help children develop their self-esteem, focus their energy, and develop character while learning safety techniques and awareness skills through basic Shotokan Karate techniques. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join with their kids, a family discount is offered. This program is for kids ages six and up on Thursdays from Sept. 18-Oct. 23 from 5:30-6:30pm in the Town Gym. The class fee is $50.
Fall Drawing with Young Rembrandts: For kids in grades K-5. Encourage your elementary student’s enthusiasm for art and help develop their drawing skills with a Young Rembrandts drawing class. This class will teach students to transform simple shapes into fully-realized clever characters. Our lessons inspire a sense of adventure in every child. This class will run on Wednesdays, Sept. 24 -Oct. 29 from 3-4:15pm for $75 and held at the Shelburne Community School art classroom.
Kindergarten Soccer: The registration deadline Friday, Sept. 5 at 12pm! This fun, instructional soccer program is especially for kindergarteners! The program curriculum includes fun ball mastery activities, interactive fundamental technical training between players and exciting small-sided fun and interactive environment. It will run on Saturdays, Sept. 6-Oct. 4 at the Shelburne Community School fields. Girls play from 10-11am and boys from 11am-12pm. The cost is $25 which includes a t-shirt and team picture. Parent volunteer helpers are needed. Program coordinators will be from Global Premier Soccer.
Pre-School Fall Soccer “Little Strikers”:  Registration deadline is Friday, Sept. 5 at 12pm. This program is designed especially for children ages 3-5 with the idea that children naturally want to have fun. What’s more natural than running around and kicking a ball? Age appropriate games will let children enjoy the game and learn basic skills without putting pressure on winning or competition. They’ll also learn to work cooperatively with other children. This program will run on Saturdays, Sept. 6-Oct. 4 from 9-9:45am at the Shelburne Community School fields. The fee is $50 and will be run by Global Premier Soccer coaches. Register through the Parks and Recreation department. Parent volunteer helpers are welcome.
Adult Leagues Beginning in September: Men’s Basketball, Adult Volleyball, and Table Tennis. Pre-registration is required. Check the website for league schedules, details and fees.
