Dan Bean and Jeanette Voss walk with purpose. Most recently, they’ve been training for the 26th annual Jimmy Fund Walk on Sunday, Sept. 21. The walk raises money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, supporting adult and pediatric cancer treatment as well as research.
This is the 11th year that Bean and Voss have participated.  Their team, the Paper Cranes, includes Bill and Carole Hauke, Steve Hauke, David Hauke of Shelburne, and Mary Jean Kalanges. Over the past 10 years they have raised over $475,000, and aim to break the half million mark this year.
