Good Times Café hosts Michael Johnathon concert Oct. 4

Oct-1-A-Michael-Johnathon-1-copyThe Good Times Café in Hinesburg welcomes Kentucky-based folksinger and songwriter Michael Johnathon for a concert introducing his new CD “Looking Glass” on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 8:30pm. Special guest Rik Palieri, will perform an opening set of songs and stories.
A plethora of credits to his name, Johnathon is a folk-singer, songwriter, concert performer, and author who created and hosts the worldwide broadcast of the “Wood Songs Old-Time Radio Hour.” The accomplishments don’t stop there.  He’s written a play, “Walden: The Ballad of Thoreau,” a full symphony opera about Woody Guthrie, released 10 albums, published two books, and performed in countless benefit concerts.
Palieri performs both original and traditional songs on a variety of folk instruments, including the banjo, 6 and 12 string guitars, mouth bow, and Native American flute.
