Shelburne Vineyard hosts Wine and Food Fest; Annual event benefits Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf

Take care of your taste buds and your neighbors’ stomachs in one fell swoop at Shelburne Vineyard’s Annual Wine and Food Fest on Saturday, Nov. 8. The event, which runs from 11am-5pm, will showcase some of Vermont’s best specialty food and wine producers.
While admission and tastings are free during the festival, the Vineyard asks attendees to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Chittenden Emergency Food Shelf. Food shelf staff will be on hand to collect food items and to share information about the need and the work they provide in Chittenden County.Shel-Vineyard-winery-cherry-bar

This year’s event features Shelburne Vineyard wines along with tasting booths from Douglas Sweets, Vermont Smoke and Cure, Red Hen Bakery, Studio Cacao Chocolates, It’s Arthur’s Fault, Vermont Creamery, Shelburne Farms, Rustic Roots. Sumptuous Syrups of Vermont, the Nutty Vermonter, and Two Guys from Vermont (soups), as well as Eden Ice Cider and Artesano Mead.
