The Residence at Shelburne Bay hosts special Veteran’s Day Ceremony

The Residence at Shelburne Bay will host a Veteran’s Day Ceremony at The Residence at Shelburne Bay Great Room on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 9am with special guest speaker Colonel Michael R. Morgan, Vice Commander, 158th Fighter Wing, Vermont Air National Guard. The ceremony is open to the public and will feature the following:
• Master of Ceremonies announces “Post Colors”. Honor Guard will post American and State flags.
• Pledge of Allegiance & National Anthem.
• Master of Ceremonies Commentary and thank you to all who have served and will serve in the future. Recognize five branches of Armed Forces with “U.S. Armed Forces” video.
• Master of Ceremonies recognizes dignitaries and introduces guest speaker Colonel Michael Morgan.
• Lee Greenwood’s “I’m Proud to be an American” video.
• Moment of respect & silence with Taps performed by Color Guard. Retire colors.
• Flag raising by Color Guard.
