Local parents and children can attest to the magical tradition of the Shelburne Holiday Stroll. Holiday tunes, a tree lighting, the S.D. Ireland truck, and Santa Claus all make the magic of Christmas come alive in Shelburne Friday evening, Dec. 5 on the Village Green.
The night kicks off at 5:45pm with Town Manager Joe Colangelo leading the community in singing holiday songs. Following the caroling the grand tree lighting will commence at 6pm sharp. After the tree lighting, children will have the opportunity to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him their wishes in the Town Hall. The Shelburne News will be hand to take photos of the children and Santa together, if desired. Plus, there’s complimentary refreshments and an arts & craft activity for the kids offered by Pierson Library Staff.
The Stroll is also the perfect opportunity to shop Shelburne and to take part in other activities in town. So make plans to attend the Holiday Stroll; it’s a holiday tradition you won’t want to miss.
