*NEW* Basketball Clinic: Join us after school in March for a basketball clinic to keep your skills sharp! Boys and girls will be led in drills by Chris Konowitz, with the opportunity to scrimmage each day. Must bring clean, dry gym shoes and a water bottle.  Monday & Wednesday, March 9-April 1 from 3:15-4:30pm. The clinic will be held in the Shelburne Town Gym and the fee is $50 for kids in grades 4-8.

*NEW* Mud Season Play Group: Pre-schoolers rejoice! Bring mom or dad and a friend and enjoy play time in the gym! An adult must attend with child and supervise. Register and pay at the door. Please bring clean, dry sneakers to wear in the gym. Playgroup will be held from 11am-12pm on Fridays in March. The cost will be $5 per family/per day.

White Belt Family Karate classes: This program will help you and your child develop self-esteem, focus energy and develop character while learning safety techniques and awareness skills through basic Shotokan Karate techniques. Focus will be on developing hand-eye coordination, balance and mental focus, leadership and partnership skills.  Thursdays, March 19-April 30 from 5:30-6:30pm for $50. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join with their kids! Family discounts apply. Pre-registration is required.

VASTA Youth SPARQ: An afterschool fitness program for kids in grades 4-6 located at the VASTA facility at the Shelburne Field House Complex. Professional strength and conditioning coach, Krista, will lead participants through workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:10- 4pm.Cost is $100 for the session, March 24-April 16. Please register in advance with Parks and Recreation.

Youth Lacrosse Registration: Registration deadline March 12. This program is open to kids in grades K-8. Boys and girls in grades 3-8 are required to get a U.S. Lacrosse Membership which can be done online. Little League Softball and Baseball Registration is open!  Registration deadline is March 21. We are now accepting registrations for 2015 baseball and softball seasons. This program is for kids ages 4-12 by April 30. Registration forms can be found online at or at the Recreation Office.

Tai Chi for Health: Fall Prevention and Arthritis (TCA1) Learn a fun and relaxing, free, joint-safe activity shown to make an impact on your daily life. Endorsed by the Arthritis Foundation and sponsored by The Champlain Valley Area on Aging (CVAA), Tai Chi is proven to increase flexibility, reduce stiffness and keep joints mobile. Tai Chi may also improve: concentration, memory, balance, strength, blood pressure, energy levels, and more! Studies show that Tai Chi can reduce the occurrence of falls by a massive 56 percent. (Special thanks to All Soul Interfaith Gathering (ASIG) for providing space for the program). Pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is Friday, April 3. Class will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10- 11am from April 7-May 28. This is a free class but donations to CVAA are accepted. This class will be instructed by Chris Curtis at ASIG, 291 Bostwick Farm Road in Shelburne.

UPDATE: Tai Chi Practice Group: The time for this program has changed from what was listed in the brochure. This session will be held on Thursdays from 12-1pm (this is the corrected time) February through May. There is no cost for this program and will be held in the Shelburne Town Center Gym.
