Yasmin Tayeby to perform at Shelburne Vineyard

A Shelburne Vineyard First Thursday Concert will feature Yasmin Tayeby at 6pm on Nov. 5. The event is free and open to the public. Supper specialties will be available from Southern Smoke BBQ. Shelburne Vineyard wine and Fiddlehead beer will be on tap, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society.

Tayeby is an Egyptian-American singer-songwriter and musical entrepreneur. Her accomplishments belie her young age; she’s a graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston. Tayeby likes her pieces to tell a story, and her musical influences are Norah Jones, the Beatles, Adele and a long list of others.

When she is not performing, Tayebe is known as founder of IZDAHAR, a nonprofit organization whose main goal is to promote cultural understanding between the U.S. and the Middle East region through artistic exchanges that aim to foster collaboration. This will be her first appearance at Shelburne Vineyard.
