Shelburne Museum welcomes Allison Gillette from Lake George, where she was most recently the project archivist at the Sage Colleges in Troy, New York. She previously worked at the Adirondack Museum, the Speed Art Museum and the Museum of Performance and Design. She received her MLIS in Library and Information Sciences at San Jose State University in 2008 and her master’s degree in humanities from San Francisco State University. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history from Southern New Hampshire University. Gillette’s background as an archivist and with museum collections experience makes her a perfect fit for the position of Assistant Registrar for the Permanent Collection/Archives and Library Manager at Shelburne Museum.
