It was a double Colorado wedding when Katherine Elvin and Christopher Marye were united in marriage on August 29, 2015 at the Lumber Baron Inn, Denver’s Mystery Mansion. The second couple was part of a mystery play put on by the Inn’s acting group. The mixing of the actors and guests created many hilarious moments.
The bride, the daughter of David and Patricia Elvin of Shelburne, is a graduate of Champlain Valley Union High School and Plymouth State University, and is employed by Integer Group in Denver. Bruce and Mary Marye of Littleton, Colorado, are the parents of the groom who is a graduate of Bear Creek High School and the University of Phoenix and is employed by McKesson in Broomfield, Colorado.
Frank Dreckman, a family friend, officiated at the outdoor ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister Deborah Elvin and Christopher’s daughter Abbey Marye. Former Shelburnite Collene Anderson with her husband Ben McMillen won the mileage points award by attending from Switzerland. After an October Hawaiian honeymoon, the couple is settled in Littleton, Colorado.
