Vermont Rail System President David Wulfson declared his story about the new railway transfer station slated for Shelburne Village will begin on Tuesday.
Responding to a Jan. 27 Shelburne News interview request, Wulfson wrote in an email just after the start of the Super Bowl on Sunday, “Our story begins on Tuesday. Hopefully you guys get it right. Thanks. Happy Super Bowl.”
A Selectboard meeting dedicated to Shelburne’s rail issues will be held from 7pm to 10pm at the Shelburne Community School on Tuesday. The agenda is available on the town website at shelburnevt.org.
Because of the anticipated turnout, Shelburne police will direct traffic that evening.
Thursday, a Vermont Railway Intermodal Salt Facility Information Open House will be held from 6pm to 9pm at Sunset Ballroom Comfort Suites in South Burlington, as announced by Wulfson on Front Porch Forum. The post said Vermont Rail is hosting the event so the public can learn more about his plans in Shelburne.
