Lake Champlain Waldorf School kicked off the new school year on Tuesday with the beloved Rose Ceremony, part of the first-day of school assembly. Each first grade student walked through a beautiful arbor and was met by a senior who presented a rose. In June, during the final assembly of the year, the first-grade students will return the gesture and offer a flower to each senior.
