Halloween was in full swing Sunday with nearly 1000 ghosts and goblins roaming around the Shelburne Town Center. Our costume contest judging panel consisted of two Parks and Recreation committee members along with CVU student Max Pudvar. They were entertained by more than 100 creative costumed characters, making it very challenging to pick the 30 winners. There were three lucky winners of the “Guess How Many” Games: Charlie Schramm guessed there were 208 Swedish fish, Ryan Perrotte guessed there were 281 pieces of candy corn and Logan Womersley had the closest guess (1260) of the actual 1280 M&M’s that were in the bottle! Congratulations to all the winners! A special thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors who make this annual event such a wonderful success.
