At its meeting on Nov. 16, the Development Review Board voted to postpone any consideration of the Kwiniaska development proposal until their meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 7 due to the absence of Board members who had participated in earlier discussions.
The Board did hold a pre-application conference on a proposed six-lot subdivision on property owned by Jay Desautels at 61 Pond Road. The property had been previously approved as a four-lot subdivision under the name of “Forest Ledge” and is located on the south side of Pond Road bordered by Route 116 on the east. Gail Albert recommended more clustering of the homes proposed for the new lots. A formal application will be filed in the future.
In other business, the Development Review Board approved:
- A fencing master plan for the Shelburnewood Mobile Home Co-op;
- The demolition of an existing single-wide mobile home at site #253 on Shelburnewood Drive and its replacement with a new double-wide mobile home on a new slab;
- First-floor replacement windows, new windows on the north and west elevations, and the replacement of the existing two garage doors with a single garage door at 1115 Falls Road, a home owned by Christina Jensen;
- Adding a connecting breezeway to a detached garage at 335 Tamarack Shores.
The next meeting of the Development Review Board will be held on Wednesday, Dec.7 at 7 pm in the Municipal Center when the Kwiniaska development proposal will be considered further.
