Shelburne Nursey School hosts picky eater workshop

Are you the parent of a picky eater?  Shelburne Nursery School is hosting “How to Foster a Positive Relationship with Food for Your Family” on Friday, Feb. 17 at either 9-11am or 6-8pm. Led by expert Karen Rodgers, the event will provide parents with research-based evidence strategies to help them deal with picky eating and successfully introduce their kids to new foods.

In addition, participants will learn the developmental, sensory/motor, and nutritional aspects behind their children’s reluctance to try new foods. Hands-on activities, case examples, and resources are provided to accommodate all types of learners. Participants will walk away with strategies that can be implemented right away to improve their child’s long-lasting relationship with food and eating.

The event is free. Shelburne Nursey School is located at 30 Church Street. For more information, call 802-985-3993.
