SCS and Shelburne Foodshelf holding food drive

The Shelburne Food Shelf, in collaboration with the Shelburne Community School, is hosting a special food pickup event on Thursday, April 20 for those families who may need a bit of extra food over school break.

To support this effort, the staff and students of SCS are holding a food drive. Food can be dropped off in one of two bins around the school—in front of the main office or at the top of the B wing—until April 19. To see a list of needed food items, please refer to the note sent home with students or visit http://www.shelburnefoodshelf.org/current-needs.html.

Families will be able to pick up breakfast and lunch staples for break week on April 20 from 5 to 7 pm at Shelburne Community School. Items will be available in the breezeway/front lobby of SCS. Please bring some reusable bags to pack up your items. This food pickup is in addition to the usual twice monthly visits to the Shelburne Food Shelf.
