PARKS and REC NEWS

20th Annual Back to the Beach Night Tuesday, June 20 from 6 to 8pm. Join us at Shelburne Beach for a fun picnic to kick off the start of beach season. A bounce house will provide entertainment for the kids, and be sure to bring your swimsuit. Bring a dish to share for the picnic. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks will be provided. In order to cut down on waste, we encourage you to bring your own plates and silverware. Free and open to all Shelburne residents. There will be no charge to enter the beach for this special event.

Shelburne Beach will be open for the season on June 19. Beach passes can be purchased at the beach starting that day. Passes are also available at the Recreation Office during business hours. Remember to leave your pets at home and to follow the beach rules so everyone can enjoy the beach safely this summer.

We still have spots in the following summer camps: basketball camp, Go Kids Go Camp, GPS soccer camp, field hockey camp, horse camp at Livery Stables, Lego robotics camp, RETN moviemaking camp, Off the Couch training camp, Redhawk soccer camp, beach swim lessons, and tennis lessons. Check the website for up to date information at shelburnevt.org/160/Parks-Recreation or call the office at 985-9551.
