The 22nd Annual Concert Series at Shelburne Farms. The Phil Abair Band will kick the series off on Wednesday and Shelburne Farms invites families to set up a lawn chair or a blanket, and bring a picnic or visit the concession stand. The event is for the whole family and kids are welcome to visit with the animals or run around on the lawn. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the concert begins an hour later. Admission is free but donations are welcome. If the weather is bad, the concert will be moved to the Shelburne Town Gym. Call the Rec. Dept. at 985-9551 for last-minute updates.

VRPA Discounted Ticket Program. Discounted tickets for The Great Escape Amusement Park in Lake George, N.Y., are available for purchase at the Shelburne Parks and Recreation Office and are good for any date during the 2017 season. VRPA PRICE: $40 (Gate price: $59 for people four-feet and taller, $47 for under four feet) Daily Parking Passes: $18. ($20 at the park).
