Burlington man found unconscious in his car

A Burlington man who police found passed out in his car on Route 116 in St. George has been charged with refusing to take a blood-alcohol test for suspicion of driving under the influence.

Nathan V. Strickler-McCann was charged after an incident July 29 at 7:41 in the morning.

Vermont State Police were notified that a car was disabled on a curve on Route 16 and was causing a traffic hazard. Troopers said Strickler-McCann was alone in the 2012 Toyota Camry; the vehicle had gone off the road and was damaged.

Strickler-McCann is due in Chittenden District Court Aug. 17. Anyone who saw the car go off Route 116 is asked to call Cpl. Andrew Leise at 802-878-7111.
