Sept. 11, 7:17 a.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to a one-car accident with no injuries at the corner of Mt. Philo Road and Wild Ginger Lane. The officer took a statement from the driver, completing a state crash report, and requested Shelburne Rescue to check the driver, who refused to be transported to the hospital.
Sept. 11, 7:26 a.m. Speed and parking enforcement on Harbor Road and School Street at Shelburne Community School.
Sept. 11, 9:08 a.m. Shelburne Police performed a traffic stop on Shelburne Road and Hullcrest Road. The driver, David R. Thompson, 58, of South Burlington, was issued a citation for Driving Under the Influence second offense and Driving while License Suspended; he was taken to detox.
Sept. 11, 10:03 a.m. Shelburne Fire, Police and Rescue were dispatched to Graham Way at Shelburne Green after a caller reported a strong gas smell in the area. The source was located and determined not to be gas.

Sept. 11, 3:30 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive following a report of a suspicious man attempting to use fake money. The person left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival, and the case is under investigation.
Sept. 11, 3:54 p.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue were dispatched to a two-car vehicle crash with injuries on Spear Street. Statements were taken from everyone involved, and all refused to be transported to the hospital.

Sept. 11, 6:54 p.m. Shelburne Police were dispatched to Champlain Road after a caller reported someone riding a dirt bike on the road. Police located the rider and issued a warning.
Sept. 11, 7:18 pm. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Bishop Road following a 911 hang-up. The officer confirmed the call was accidental.
Sept. 12, 8:54 a.m. Shelburne Police responded to a two-car accident on Shelburne Road and took a statement for insurance purposes.
Sept. 12, 11:47 a.m. Shelburne Rescue and Police were dispatched to a medical emergency call on Farm Barn Lane. A patient was transported to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 12:22 p.m. Shelburne Police and Rescue and UVM Rescue were dispatched to North Star Motel after a caller reported a medical emergency. UVM Rescue transported the patient to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 1:08 p.m. Shelburne Rescue assisted South Burlington Rescue at a medical call on Quarry Hill Road in South Burlington. Shelburne Rescue transported the patient to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 1:28 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Barstow Road after a caller reported a sick-looking fox in the area. The officer was unable to locate the fox.
Sept. 12, 2:40 p.m. Shelburne Rescue and Police were dispatched to a medical emergency on Oak Hill Road. The patient refused to be taken to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 3:17 p.m. Shelburne Police were dispatched to the area of Harbor Road and Depot Road after a caller reported a suspicious vehicle parked in the area. After checking the area, the officer was unable to locate the vehicle.
Sept. 12, 3:24 p.m. Shelburne Rescue and Police were dispatched to a medical emergency on Barstow Road and transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 4:05 p.m. Shelburne Rescue and Charlotte Rescue were dispatched to Wake Robin for a medical emergency. Charlotte Rescue transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept. 12, 10:33 p.m. Shelburne Rescue was dispatched after a caller reported a medical emergency on Aspen Circle. The patient was transported to the hospital.
Sept. 13, 3:47 a.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police were dispatched to what was a false fire alarm on Harrington Avenue.
Sept. 13, 7:28 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police with a motor vehicle crash at Orchard and Greenbush roads.
Sept. 13, 7:36 a.m. Shelburne Police unlocked a vehicle on Church Street where the driver had locked them inside.
Sept. 13, 8:14 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police with a motor vehicle crash at Spear Street and Alberts Way.

Sept. 13, 10:23 a.m. Shelburne Police took a burglary report after a caller reported a commercial burglary sometime overnight on Shelburne Road. Case is under investigation.

Sept. 13, 2:14 p.m. Shelburne Police took a harassment report at Harbor Place, where a caller reported receiving threatening text messages. The case is under investigation.
Sept. 13, 4:22 p.m. Shelburne Police and Rescue were dispatched to Harbor Place for a medical emergency and transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept. 13, 7:11 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Nashville Road to investigate a report of a suspicious man in the area. Officers were unable to locate the person.
Sept. 13, 10:33 p.m. Shelburne Police officer found a homeless man sitting on the porch of a business on Webster Road, identified him, and asked him to leave the property.
Sept. 13, 10:56 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Falls Road to check out a call reporting people in the river with flashlights. Officer found a Vermont Fish & Wildlife employee working in the area.
Sept. 14, 8:42 a.m. Shelburne Police, Fire, and Rescue, Hinesburg Fire and First Response, and St. Michael’s Rescue were dispatched to a three-car collision with injuries at Vermont 116 and Pond Road. One operator and a passenger were taken to UVM Medical Center for evaluation of minor injuries. No charges were filed.
Sept. 14, 8:50 a.m. Shelburne Rescue and Charlotte Rescue were dispatched to a medical emergency on Harbor Road. Charlotte Rescue transported the patient to the hospital.
Sept. 14, 10:14 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Williston Police by serving paperwork on Martindale Road.
Sept. 14, 2:54 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched to Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive to investigate a retail theft report. The officer was unable to find the suspect and took a report. The case is under investigation.
Sept. 14, 4:08 p.m. Shelburne Rescue was dispatched to Wake Robin for a medical emergency and transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept. 14, 6:31 p.m. Shelburne Police and Rescue were dispatched to Harbor Place for a medical emergency and transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept 14, 9:24 p.m. Shelburne Police located a suspicious person in the area of Harbor Place. The person was identified and released.
Sept. 14, 10:13 p.m. Shelburne Police located a mailbox and a trashcan damaged on Webster Road. A vandalism report was taken and the case is pending additional leads.
Sept. 14, 10:48 p.m. Shelburne Rescue and Police were dispatched to Olde Orchard Lane for a medical emergency and transported a patient to the hospital.
Sept. 14, 10:57 p.m. Shelburne Police were dispatched after a caller reported a man and woman fighting at the woman’s Nashville Road home. Officers located the individuals involved, determined they had a verbal dispute, and the man agreed to leave.
Sept 14, 11:12 p.m. Shelburne Police were dispatched to a Ridgefield Road home after a caller reported hearing someone inside her home. The officers checked and no one was found inside.
Sept. 15, 11:25 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted UVM Medical Center with message delivery on Nashville Road.
Sept. 15, 11:54 a.m. A person walked into the police station to report that neighboring juveniles were cutting across her property. A complaint was taken and the case is under investigation.
Sept. 15, 12:40 p.m. Speed and traffic safety enforcement on Thomas Road.
Sept. 15, 1:05 p.m. Shelburne Police was dispatched after a caller reported a retail theft at a business on Executive Drive. The officers located and identified two women: Holly Cota, 40, of Williston, and Brittany LeClaire, 27, of Essex; both were issued citations for Retail Theft.
Sept. 15, 3:05 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted in an inspection and installation of a child safety seat.
Sept. 15, 4:28 p.m. Shelburne Police and Rescue were dispatched to Countryside Motel after a caller reported a medical emergency/unconscious female. On arrival, the woman was found to be conscious, but significantly intoxicated. She was transported to UVM Medical Center by Shelburne Rescue. She was not charged with any crime. While on scene, police came into contact with a male associate of the woman. He was also found to be intoxicated. He was identified and found to be in violation of court-ordered conditions or release. The man, Richard Senna, age 42, of Burlington, was lodged at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility for lack of $750 bail.
