Shelburne Police, Fire & Rescue

Oct. 1 at 7:54 p.m. At a traffic stop on Shelburne Road, police found Logan Williams, age 25, of Vergennes, to be driving with a license under criminal suspension. Williams was taken to the police station, issued a citation for driving with license suspended, and scheduled for a court appearance on Dec. 7 in Vermont District Court Criminal Division.

Oct. 2 at 3:14 a.m. At a traffic stop at Hullcrest and Shelburne roads, police stopped Samantha Plouffe, age 28, of Franklin. Plouffe was cited for driving under the influence
and scheduled to appear in Vermont District Court, Criminal Division, on Oct. 19.

Oct. 6 at 10:27 p.m. At a traffic stop on Shelburne Road near Hedgerow Drive, police stopped Gregory Reynolds, age 50, of Essex. Reynolds was taken to the police station and issued a citation for driving under the influence with an Oct. 26 date to appear in Vermont District Court, Criminal Division.

Oct. 9 at 5:23 p.m. Police responded to an assault on Sunset Court involving a juvenile assailant. The matter was referred to Family Court.

Oct. 12 at 2:52 p.m. Police took a report of attempted fraud involving a suspicious online transaction at a business. No loss was incurred. The incident is under investigation.

Oct. 16 at 2:49 p.m. A caller was concerned about a trailer and boat parked on Maplewood Drive.  Shelburne Police checked it out and determined it was legally parked on the street.

Oct. 16 at 5:25 p.m. False fire alarm on Farm Barn Lane.

Oct. 16 at 10:36 p.m. A woman on Bacon Drive called to report someone with a flashlight trying to get into her shed.  While on route, Shelburne Police were notified that the woman called back to say it was her husband.

Oct. 16 at 10:48 p.m. Rescue and police responded to an accidental medical alarm on Terrace Drive.

Oct. 17 at 7:21 p.m. Police helped with traffic safety and commercial vehicle inspection detail at U.S. 7 and Vermont 22A in Ferrisburgh.

Oct. 17 at 2:24 p.m. Rescue and police went to the Red Apple Motel on Shelburne Road for a medical emergency and took a patient to the hospital.

Oct. 17 at 4:23 p.m. Police took an accident report for insurance purposes only from a two-car accident on Harbor Road near Shelburne Community School. No one was injured.
