Jan. 13
3:35 p.m. Police helped resolve a custodial dispute on Ockert Lane.
11:12 p.m. Police stopped Brian Johnson, age 32 of Charlotte, on Ferry Road in Charlotte; he was cited for driving under the influence, and negligent operation for driving over the speed limit in icy conditions. He pleaded not guilty in court on Feb. 1.

Jan. 14
2:32 a.m. An officer ticketed vehicles parked on Hullcrest Road in violation of the winter parking ban.
11:12 a.m. A caller reported finding wiring along the railroad tracks. Police followed footprints to the construction site at Wake Robin. A burglary report was taken and the case is under investigation.
2:18 p.m. A caller reported a guest was refusing to leave Harbor Place. Police located the individual and escorted him off the property.
5:51 p.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue assisted Vermont State Police, Charlotte Fire and Rescue at an accident on Route 7.
7:55 p.m. Police checked reported suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Route 7 Deli. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the vehicle described.

Jan.15
1:23 p.m. Police notified animal control about a stray dog on Meadow Lane.
2:58 p.m. Police located a stray dog on Bacon Drive and Falls Road and reunited it with the owner.
13:12 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Delray Beach Florida Police with a message delivery.
6 p.m. A caller requested a trespass notice on Ockert Lane for ex-husband’s new wife. Police located the individual and issued a trespass notice.

Jan. 16
11:40 a.m. An employee at Kinney Drugs reported a retail theft from the business. Police located the individual who was issued a trespass notice and returned the property to the store.
5:15 p.m. Charlotte Fire and Rescue requested a driver safety check for a new rescue member.

Jan. 17
5:28 p.m. A caller reported a neighbor was screaming in her apartment at the Wright House. An officer located the woman and asked if she needed any assistance. The woman refused.
6:22 p.m. Police went to the Bearded Frog where an employee reported a neighbor came into the restaurant and yelled at a customer, then left. Police located the individuals and issued a trespass notice.

Jan.18
9:22 a.m. Police notified animal control about a stray dog on Dorset Street.
1:29 p.m. Police helped resolve a dispute between a man and a woman at Countryside Motel.
2:16 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue, Police and Charlotte Rescue responded to a report of strong smell of gas in the area of Woodbine Road. The hazard was removed, and no injuries were reported.
3:07 p.m. Police checked out a report of a man walking along Mount Philo Road; they located him, identified him and let him go.
5:18 p.m. Police notified animal control about a stray dog on Spear Street and Irish Hill Road.
5:36 p.m. Shelburne Fire requested a driver safety check for new rescue members.

Jan.19
9:27 a.m. An officer observed pedestrian crossing at the intersection of Falls Road and Church Street during.
11:09 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle passing a school bus on Harbor Road while the red lights were activated on the bus. Vehicle description and license plate were provided. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and issued a ticket by mail for passing a school bus.
3:43 p.m. Police checked out a report from a woman at Wright House about unwanted individuals in the lobby. An officer determined they were visiting residents there.
7:48 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Chittenden Family Court with service of an abuse prevention order.

Jan. 20
11:49 a.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded to a two-car motor vehicle collision with injuries on Shelburne Road and Cynosure Drive. Statements were taken from all individuals involved. The patient was transported to the hospital.

Jan. 21
.4:06 p.m. A caller reported a sick possum in his garage on Phillip Lane. Shelburne Police was dispatched. The animal was located and destroyed.

Jan. 22
5:57 Shelburne Fire and Rescue assisted Charlotte Fire and Rescue at a motor vehicle collision on Spear Street and Sheehan Green. The patient was transported to the hospital by Charlotte Rescue.

Jan. 23
12:13 a.m. Shelburne Police Officer located vehicles parked on the street. The officer issued tickets for violation of the Winter Parking Ban.
10:10 a.m. Shelburne Police responded to an individual threatening staff at Harbor Place. The individual involved was located and identified. A female was taken into custody and transported to the police station. Following processing, the female was issued a citation for Violation of Conditions and released.
5:27 p.m. Shelburne Police responded to an erratic motorist on Shelburne and Webster Roads. Vehicle description and license plate were provided. The vehicle was located and stopped. The operator was identified and released.

Jan. 24
8:42 a.m. Shelburne Police Officer located an unsecured residence on Covington Lane. Officers searched and secured the building.
6:34 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police responded to strong smell of gas in the area of Henry Street. Responders checked the area, but were unable to locate anything.

Jan. 25
6:39 a.m. A caller asked to speak with a police officer about personal problems in his life. An officer met with the individual.
12:21 p.m. Walk-in reported finding stickers on his mailbox on Penny Lane and wanted to speak with officer about this problem. He stated the stickers have been placed on the mailboxes to identify people that will be taken out when the new world order takes over.
2:45 p.m. Shelburne Fire assisted Charlotte Fire at a rescue call on Converse Bay Road and canceled when the individual was removed safely from the elevator.
4:17 p.m. A walk-in dropped off a wallet she found in the area of a skating rink on Hinesburg Road. The property was returned to the owner.

Jan. 26
10:10 p.m. A caller on Kimball Terrace wanted to speak with officer about personal problems in his life. An officer checked on the individual.
