Feb. 24
12:35 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Williston Police with report of stolen vehicle on Vermont Route 2A in St. George.
7:14 p.m. A walk-in reported a missing person. Shelburne Police took a missing person’s report at Nashville Road. It was later determined the individual was not missing, but staying at a friend’s home.

Feb. 25
4:24 p.m. Shelburne Rescue and Fire responded to a fire alarm activation on Acorn Lane which was determined to be a false alarm.
8:56 p.m. Shelburne Police located an erratic motorist on Shelburne Road. An officer stopped the vehicle and the operator was identified and released.

Feb. 26
9:09 a.m. An officer responded to a caller on Mount Philo Road reporting her lawn was vandalized by a vehicle driving on it. The officer determined the damage was caused by her snowplow service clearing the driveway.

Feb. 27
12:38 a.m. An officer responded to a report of loud music on Penny Lane. The officer checked the area, but was unable to locate anything.
12:52 a.m. Shelburne police located a truck with its lights still on at Kenworth. The officers turned off the lights and checked the area.
10:54 a.m. An officer responded to a report of an erratic motorist near Shelburne Shopping Park and Falls Road. The officer checked the area, but was unable to locate the vehicle.
12:51 p.m. A caller reported an unwanted guest refusing to leave Harbor Place. Police located the individual and issued a trespass notice.
3:35 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Chittenden state’s attorney with service of paperwork on Longmeadow Drive.
4:20 p.m. Shelburne Fire and Rescue responded to an alarm activation on Harbor Road. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm.
5 p.m. Police responded to a suspicious individual outside Lighting House. The individual was located and escorted off the property.
7:35 p.m. A caller reported a multiple vehicle crash that occurred earlier in the day near Countryside Motel. A statement was taken for insurance purpose only.

Feb. 28
2:28 p.m. A caller reported a fraud complaint. A fraud report was taken and the case is pending further investigation.
2:35 p.m. An officer responded to a dispute between two residents. The officer obtained statement and the case is pending further investigation.
6:06 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted South Burlington Police with an intoxicated individual on Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
6:41 p.m. On Spear Street and East Allen Road, police located a single-vehicle crash with no injuries. Shelburne Police was dispatched. A statement was taken from the operator and a state crash report was completed.
10:17 p.m. A tractor trailer unit was stopped near Vermont Teddy Bear and a commercial vehicle inspection was conducted.

March 1
8:05 a.m. A caller reported an erratic motorist on Ethan Allen Highway and Ferry Road in Charlotte. The vehicle description and license plate were provided. Police located the vehicle and the operator was identified and released.
8:57 a.m. A caller from Wake Robin requested a welfare check on his son in Florida. The case was referred to the Broward County Sheriff’s Department.
11:53 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a client on John Street. The person doesn’t live at the location anymore.
1:57 p.m. A caller reported a fire alarm activation at Shelburne Community School. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police determined it to be a false alarm.
4:31 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Sex Offender Registry with compliancy checks.
4:43 p.m. An officer responded to a dog running loose along Juniper Ridge. The officer checked the area, but was unable to locate the animal.
6:21 p.m. A vehicle operator on Shelburne Road in South Burlington was identified and found to be under criminal suspension. The operator was transported to the police station for processing. Following processing, the operator was issued a citation for Driving with License Suspended and released.

March 2
12:08 a.m. A tractor trailer unit was stopped near Vermont Teddy Bear and a commercial vehicle inspection was conducted.
3:10 a.m. A tractor trailer unit was stopped on Shelburne Road and a commercial vehicle inspection was conducted.
7:07 a.m. An officer observed crossing at the intersection during a school crossing on Shelburne and Falls Roads.
8:29 a.m. A caller reported finding possible drugs and paraphernalia in a vehicle they were servicing at Automaster. Shelburne Police took the items and properly disposed of them.
1 p.m. A caller reported a multiple vehicle crash on Mt. Philo and Marsett Roads, with no injuries. Shelburne Police took statements from all individuals involved and a state crash report was completed.
1:50 p.m. A caller reported her son was creating a disturbance on Brentwood Drive. The officer assisted in mediating the dispute. No further action taken at this time.
4:43 p.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded to Thomas Road for a single vehicle crash with injuries. A statement was taken from all operators. The patients refused transport to the hospital.
6:01 p.m. A caller reported a two-car motor vehicle crash on Webster Road, with no injuries. Shelburne Police responded and took statements from all individuals involved and a state crash report was completed.

March 3
4:48 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police with a vehicle off the roadway on Ethan Allen Highway and Patton Woods Road in Charlotte.
12:13 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted South Burlington Police with a suspicious vehicle on Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
2:12 p.m. An officer responded to an unwanted guest refusing to leave the property of North Star Motel. The officer located the individual and he was escorted off the property.
2:39 p.m. Officers checked out a report of an injured coyote in the area of Summerfield Road but they were unable to locate the animal.
3:46 p.m. An individual dropped off a wallet he found in the area of Shelburne Road. Police returned it to the owner.
5:35 p.m. A caller reported a small child left alone in a parked vehicle at the Shopping Park. An officer checked the area, but was unable to locate the vehicle.
7:04 p.m. Police responded to a single-vehicle crash with a deer on Shelburne and Lower Webster roads. A statement was taken from the driver. Police filed a state crash report. The deer was removed from the road and police notified Vermont Fish & Wildlife officials.
8:05 p.m. Police were called to Pond Road and Dorset Street where three horses were in the road. Police found the horses and returned them to their owner.

March 4
3:52 a.m. A caller reported a customer was refusing to pay a taxi fare at Harbor Place. Police located the individual and issued a citation for Theft of Service.
10:45 a.m. Shelburne Rescue and Police responded to a medical emergency at Harbor Place and took a patient to the hospital.
1:05 p.m. A caller reported an unwanted guest was refusing to leave her residence on Locust Hill. The individual left the residence prior to the officer’s arrival.
8:58 p.m. A caller reported a truck idling for more than an hour near the intersection of Falls and Mount Philo Roads. Police determined it was Shelburne Waste Water working on a sewer line problem.

March 5
3:42 a.m. A caller reported his friend was being threatened and was locked in his room on Nashville Road. An officer located the individual involved and mediated the dispute.
4:39 a.m. A caller reported a disabled vehicle on Shelburne and Webster Roads. A tractor-trailer was located and having a problem on the slippery roadway. A Vermont Department of Transportation road crew was called and the vehicle was removed once the road was cleared.
8:21 a.m. A caller reported to police seeing a vehicle hit trees and a mailbox and gave a location for the vehicle. Police were dispatched to Shelburne Bay Plaza where they found the vehicle and driver. Police took a statement from the driver and filed a state report.
9:51 a.m. Police took a fraud complaint from a resident on Longmeadow Drive. The matter is under investigation.
11:16 a.m. Shelburne Police located a man from Nashville Road who was wanted for an outstanding warrant. Thomas Beane, 30, of Shelburne was transported to the police station for processing and then lodged at Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.
12:22 p.m. Police were called about a stray dog near Vermont Teddy Bear. They found the animal and reunited it with the owner.
2:29 p.m. An officer observed school crossing at the intersection of Harbor and Shelburne Roads.
7:10 p.m. Police were called about a man walking on Vermont Route 116 in Shelburne. Shelburne and Hinesburg Police. The Hinesburg officer located a juvenile and took him into protective custody. The young man stated he was trying to walk to Brattleboro. Police took him to crisis service.

March 6
7:07 a.m. Police conducted speed and parking enforcement at Shelburne Community School.
2:13 p.m. An officer observed crossing at the intersection during school crossing on Harbor and Shelburne Roads.
2:55 p.m. An officer located individuals standing in roadway near a dead cat on Spear Street and Nashville Road in Shelburne. The officer instructed them to get out of the roadway and removed the dead animal.
5:51 p.m. Shelburne Rescue requested a driver safety check for a new rescue member.

March 7
12:58 a.m.
A caller reported a dog barking for a few hours on Woodbine Road. An officer checked the area, but was unable to locate any barking dogs.
3 p.m. An officer observed a crossing at the intersection of Shelburne Community School.
4:15 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle passing a school bus on Shelburne Road and Lakeview Drive while the red lights were activated. Vehicle description and license plate were provided. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and issued a ticket by mail for passing a school bus.

March 8
12 p.m. A caller reported a vehicle passing a school bus on Shelburne Road while the red lights were activated. Vehicle description and license plate were provided. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and issued a ticket by mail for passing a school bus.
2:06 p.m. Police took a report of theft of items from a vehicle on Maple Leaf Lane. The matter is under investigation.
2:17 p.m. An officer observed a crossing at the intersection of Harbor and Shelburne Roads during school crossing.
4:44 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police with an accident on Vermont Route 116 and Vermont Route 2A in St. George.
6:23 p.m. A caller reported locking keys in a vehicle on Shelburne Road. An officer was able to unlock the vehicle.
8:50 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Hinesburg Police with a welfare check on Sunset Lane West in Hinesburg.

March 9
8:45 a.m. Police took a report fraud from a resident of Harrington Avenue. The matter is under investigation.
2:32 p.m. An officer observed crossing at the intersection of Harbor and Shelburne Roads during school.
4:41 p.m. Police responded to a caller on Falls Road requesting a welfare check on a friend/neighbor/family member. The person was contacted and appeared to be fine.
