FreshTracks Capital announced this week that its fifth annual summer FreshTracks Road Pitch will happen July 30 through Aug. 2 with stops in eight Vermont communities to meet entrepreneurs who will pitch their businesses to the biking investors.
The four-day motorcycle tour of Vermont will feature a gang of “business bikers” comprised of investors, entrepreneurs and business advisors.
Entrepreneurs who are interested in pitching their business to the riders should contact organizers now to apply for a slot. Riders will stop in Essex Junction, Hyde Park, Lowell, Bennington, Rutland, Brattleboro, St. Johnsbury and Barre. Each event is open to the public and at each stop, the investors will award a $500 “Riders Choice Prize” and hand off a special edition “Vermont Biker Bear” created by Vermont Teddy Bear.
The FreshTracks announcement notes that Road Pitch helps connect Vermont entrepreneurs to capital and advice, and helps entrepreneurs refine their pitching skills. Along the way it showcases up-and-coming Vermont businesses and promotes motorcycle touring and rider safety, the company said.
