Foster pet-parent volunteers needed — Robin Shover

To the Editor:

We are kicking off a foster recruitment campaign this June called “30 New Fosters in 30 Days.”

Upon approval and by welcoming a rescue dog into your home, volunteers are contributing to our mission to save lives.

Foster homes are critical in a rescue dog’s life, allowing our dogs to come out of difficult shelter environments into the empathetic arms of animal advocates.

You join our team and help nurture a foster pup to transition into a forever home. We will provide you with all of the guidance and resources to help you and your foster pup succeed plus we cover approved medical care as needed. We only ask our foster families to provide food, love and training at home.

Established in Shelburne in April 2014, Passion 4 Paws’ mission is to rescue homeless, abandoned, neglected, and/or abused dogs from shelters in the South. We have saved the lives of more than 1,200 dogs. We tell our foster families: “One dog fostered is another dog saved.”

From our rescue family to yours, we thank you for your support and we hope you will consider becoming a part of our team! For more information and to apply online, please visit: Passion-4-Paws.org.
