June 2
1:21 a.m. Police were asked to check on a person who lives on Shelburne Road. The person was OK.
12:47 p.m. Police mediated a situation on Brentwood Drive between a mother and son that left the son’s bike in a dumpster.

June 3
9:14 a.m. Someone getting gas at the Jiffy Mart on Shelburne Road reported spilled gasoline by a pump. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police cleaned up the potential fire hazard.
9:47 a.m. A major water leak occurred at a house on Locust Hill. The water was turned off in the house.
12:43 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police responded to what turned out to be a false alarm on Harbor Road.
2:57 p.m. Two cars crashed at the intersection of Shelburne Road and Webster Road. There were no injuries. Police filed a report for insurance purposes.
5:27 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police responded to what turned out to be a false fire alarm on Pine Haven Shores Road.
11:11 p.m. Police found a stray dog near Thomas Road and reunited the dog with its owner.

June 4
3:11 a.m. A woman at Harbor Place reported a strange man knocking at her door. Police went to go check but could not find the man.
9:18 a.m. Police were asked to check on an individual at Harbor Place who they found and got the person in touch with Crisis Services.
10:17 a.m. Police were called to check on a someone living on Route 116. The individual was OK.
2:20 p.m. Accidental call to police.
3:18 p.m. A woman living on Lilly Creek Lane called police to report someone trespassing on her property but police were unable to find anyone else on the property.
4:46 p.m. Two cars crashed on Spear Street. Police, Fire and Rescue responded and one individual involved was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

June 5
1:46 a.m. Police conducted a commercial vehicle inspection on a truck on Shelburne Road.
4:22 p.m. Police helped South Burlington Police locate the owner of a car that was parked in a parking lot on General Greene Road.
4:04 p.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded to a two-car accident on Spear Street. Everyone involved refused transport to the hospital.
4:56 p.m. Police contacted animal control about a dog was running loose on Simmons Drive.
5:22 p.m. A drunk man was creating a disturbance at Harbor Place. Police took the man into custody and transported him to the hospital.

June 6
5:31 a.m. Police mediated a situation between a dog owner and a driver on Wes Road who honked his horn when he saw dogs off their leashes and in the street.
8 a.m. Police were called about people creating a disturbance along the road near the intersection of Nashville Road and Spear Street. Police found people laughing and joking around and decided not to ruin their fun.
12:35 p.m. Police assisted with installing a child car seat.
10:24 a.m. Someone on Boulder Hill Drive reported a fraud complaint. Police are investigating.
11:04 a.m. A man in a U-Haul truck was reported to have tried soliciting a woman. Police could not find the truck.
3:11 p.m. A woman living on Route 116 reported stolen items from her house. Police are investigating further.
7:57 p.m. A man was found lying in the parking lot and screaming at people at the Quality Inn on Shelburne Road. Police and Rescue helped transport the man to the hospital to be evaluated.

June 7
7:42 a.m. A disabled truck was blocking the road near the intersection of Shelburne Road and Long Meadow Drive. The truck was removed from the road by a wrecker.
9:33 a.m. A large truck got stuck under the railroad underpass on Bay Road. Police helped the truck driver back up, turn around, and find an alternative route.
11:33 a.m. Police took a an accident report for insurance purposes after a two-car accident on Northside Drive. There were no injuries.
3:07 p.m. Two cars crashed on Shelburne Road. There were no injuries. Police took a statement for insurance purposes.
5:36 p.m. Animal control was notified about an animal bite on Richmond Drive.

June 8
9:29 a.m. Police found a loose dog on Hullcrest Road and reunited it with its owner.
10:48 a.m. Shelburne Police conducted a background check for Phoenix Police on a new employee.
1:18 p.m.. Animal control was notified about an animal bite on Harrington Avenue.
3:29 p.m. Someone living on Ti Lane reported fraud. Police are investigating further.
7:20 p.m. Police were alerted about youngsters with spray paint cans headed towards the Laplatte Bridge. Police found the kids and notified their parents.
8:24 p.m. Police checked on an accidental 911 call from Pine Haven Shores Road.
11:15 p.m. Police assisted Hinesburg Police with a domestic disturbance on North Road.
11:43 p.m. Police assisted Hinesburg Police with a domestic disturbance on Route 116.

June 9
12:22 a.m. Someone reported loud music coming from a neighbor on Spear Street. Shelburne and South Burlington police went to check it out, but when they got there they heard nothing.
10:59 a.m. Accidental 911 call from Shelburne Road.
11:38 a.m. Police mediated a dispute between neighbors on Hedgerow Drive over a tree being cut down.
1:20 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police extinguished an unsupervised fire in a wooded area by Spear Street and Irish Hill Road. They determined a controlled burn had rekindled.
2:41 p.m. Shelburne Rescue assisted Hinesburg First Response at a car crash near Magee Hill Road and Richmond Road. Richmond Rescue transported a patient to the hospital.

June 10
7:31 a.m. A man reported a sick raccoon in his yard on Collamer Circle. Police found and euthanized the raccoon.
5:24 p.m. Police had the owner of a truck and trailer blocking the Bay Access boat ramp remove the vehicle.

June 11
5:30 a.m. Police checked out a report of a dog loose on Wes Road but were unable to find the dog.
10:03 a.m. Police helped install a child car seat.
2:12 p.m. A woman reported a parakeet landing on her shoulder on Barn View Road. Police took the bird to Shelburne Veterinary Hospital and it later was reunited with its Colchester owner.
8:11 p.m. Police mediated a dispute between a man and a woman over a handicap parking space in a parking lot on Henry Street.
8:41 p.m. Police checked a report of a suspicious person near Falls Road but were unable to find anyone.
8:56 p.m. Police did a commercial vehicle inspection on a truck on Shelburne Road.
9:54 p.m. Police found a suspicious car parked on Pond Access Road, identified and released the occupants.
11:27 p.m. Shelburne police helped South Burlington Police look for a missing person on Allen Road.

June 12
5:04 a.m. Police were called about a woman at Harbor Place making noise. They asked her to quiet down.
9:34 a.m. Someone brought police a remote control they found at the town offices. Police will hold it until the owner is found.
11:51 a.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded to a two-car accident at Shelburne Road and Longmeadow Drive. No one went to the hospital.
3:33 p.m. Polcie checked out a report of a man acting strangely in the West Cemetery on Duck Pond Road but were unable to find the man.
4:33 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Hinesburg Police serve a trespass notice.
5:33 p.m. Police checked on a reported loose dog on Shelburne Road but they did not find the dog.
5:39 p.m. Police conducted a background check for a new member of Charlotte Rescue.
6:32 p.m. Someone reported a woman on Champlain Drive needing mental health services. Police connected her with Crisis Services.

June 13
5:48 a.m. A false fire alarm rang at Juniper Ridge. Shelburne Fire and Rescue went.
7:31 Someone accidentally called 911 on Mount Philo Road. Police verified the call was an accident.
7:43 a.m. Police removed a turtle in the road near the intersection of Shelburne Road and Webster Road.
12:43 p.m. Shelburne Rescue helped South Burlington with a medical call at Beacon Place.
2:47 p.m. A drunk man was causing a disturbance at Harbor Place. Police took him into protective custody and transported him to detox.
4:54 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Chittenden County States Attorney serve paperwork to a person at Sunset Court.
5:01 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue, Police, Charlotte Fire, Rescue and US Coast Guard were dispatched to an overturned boat in Shelburne Bay. The boaters were rescued and transported to shore. All patients refused transport to the hospital.

June 14
1:19 a.m. Police found a suspicious car on Shelburne Road. The officer identified and released the occupant.
9:02 a.m. A woman working for Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive reported retail theft from her business. An officer located and identified the individual who had stolen the items. The individual was issued a citation for retail theft and issued a trespass notice. It was not a criminal charge, so no name was given.
9:56 a.m. Police took a report and are investigating a car being vandalized on Henry Street.
12:19 p.m. An individual reported their neighbor on Nashville Road was making threats to them. Police took a harassment report and are investigating.
12:29 p.m. A woman was threatening staff at Harbor Place. Police escorted her off the property.
1:14 p.m. An injured turtle was blocking the road by Pond Road and Frogs End. Police euthanized the turtle.
3:13 p.m. Shelburne Fire and Rescue responded to a false fire alarm on Quaker Smith Point Road.
4:40 p.m. A woman working for Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive reported retail theft from her business. An officer was unable to locate the individual, but took a theft report. The case is under investigation.
7:41 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police responded to a false fire alarm on Sledrunner Road.
8:20 p.m. Police checked out a business on Executive Drive, which reported a theft. Police are investigating further.

June 15
4:33 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Charlotte Rescue with a medical call on Mount Philo Road.
7:16 a.m. Police returned a wallet found on Route 116 in Starksboro and dropped off at the station.
8:48 a.m. Police returned another wallet found near the intersection of Marsett Road and Shelburne Road and turned in at the police station.
10:12 a.m. Police took a statement about a two-car crash that happened earlier in the day by Graham Way.
10:20 a.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded to a two-car accident by the intersection of Shelburne Road and Juniper Ridge. Police took statements from all individuals involved. Rescue transported one person to the hospital.
12:06 p.m. Shelburne Rescue helped Vergennes Rescue at a medical call. Vergennes Rescue transported a person to the hospital.
1:17 p.m. Someone reported a suspicious man taking branches from a tree in their front yard on Shelburne Road. Police located the man, who they found to be removing “suckers” from the tree. They let him go.
1:57 p.m. Shelburne Police, Fire and Rescue responded and took statements at a two-car accident by the intersection of Shelburne Road and Tennybrook Square. No one went to the hospital.
4:57 p.m. Police took statements a another two-car accident at Shelburne Road and Webster Road. There were no injuries.
8:03 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue and Police responded to a fire behind a home on Bacon Drive and found construction materials burning. They extinguished the fire.
