Vermont State Police charged a Shelburne man with driving with a criminally suspended license after a traffic stop Saturday evening on Interstate 89 in South Burlington.
According to a press release, police at 6:50 p.m. Saturday were patrolling in the “safety corridor” of the highway in South Burlington when they stopped Richard Gaboriault Jr., age 46, of Shelburne.
Police said the license plate on Gaboriault’s vehicle was not the correct plate registered to the vehicle. Police said his license was also criminally suspended.
Gaboriault was taken to the State Police barracks in Williston, charged, and released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court on Aug. 28.
