Committee asks for ideas in town manager survey

To the Editor:

The town has posted a survey for residents, town employees, and other stakeholders to help the Town Manager Search Committee and their search consulting firm Municipal Resources Inc. determine which characteristics will be most valued in our next town manager.

The survey can be found online on the Town of Shelburne’s home page or at this link:

The survey consists of seven questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete. We have had the survey running for about two weeks, and collected just under 50 responses. We hoped to receive input from more than 200 people. MRI has agreed to keep the survey open as long as possible, but time is of the essence as the search committee intends to keep this process moving forward.

Thank you for your prompt survey replies.
