Polo match benefits Prevent Child Abuse Vermont

Sugarbush Polo Club will hold a match Sunday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. at the Shelburne Polo Field, 929 Shelburne Hinesburg Road, Shelburne, to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Vermont.

The fundraiser will include a raffle and silent auction. Spectators are invited – bring chairs and a picnic lunch. There will be a prize for best tailgate.

Prevent Child Abuse Vermont is the Vermont Chapter of Prevent Child Abuse America and the National Circle of Parents whose mission is to promote and support healthy relationships within families, schools and communities to eliminate child abuse.

Founded in 1962, the Sugarbush Polo Club is Vermont’s oldest polo club and a member of the United States Polo Association. Players and enthusiasts of all levels are welcome to join. Lessons and rentals are available.
