Sept. 1
12:30 a.m. A 911 caller from Harbor Place on Shelburne Road reported she was assaulted and was injured. Police and Rescue were dispatched and found the woman to be intoxicated, and with a minor injury. Rescue took her to the hospital. An investigation determined that no assault had occurred.
1:19 p.m. Rescue and police were dispatched to a medical emergency on Pine Haven Shores Road at Shelburne Bay; rescue took a patient to the hospital.
1:33 p.m. Police returned a wallet to its owner after an individual dropped it off at the station.
2:34 p.m. A caller on Addie Lane reported items stolen from her home. A juvenile was found with the items. Investigation is continuing.
4:43 p.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a friend threatening to harm herself at Harbor Place on Shelburne Road. Shelburne Police found the woman, took her into protective custody and took her to the hospital for evaluation.
9:27 p.m. Police checked out a report of a loud truck idling in a nearby parking lot on Shelburne Road. The driver indicated he was leaving.
11:46 p.m. Medical emergency at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road. Rescue took a patient to the hospital.

Sept. 2
2:23 a.m. Fire, Rescue and Police responded to what was determined to be a false fire alarm on High Acres Farm Drive.
4:21 a.m. Medical call on Locust Hill; rescue took a patient to the hospital.
4:52 a.m. Police made a traffic stop on Shelburne Road, suspecting the driver was under the influence of drugs. The driver was taken to the police station for processing, then to the hospital. An investigation is continuing to determine whether criminal charges are appropriate.
10:04 a.m. Police checked out a report of two suspicious men circling the Hullcrest Road and Hullcrest Lane neighborhood on bicycles, but they were unable to locate anyone.
10:09 a.m. Police checked on a report of gunshots in the area of the Red Apple Motel on Shelburne Road, but they were unable to locate the source.
10:33 a.m. Medical emergency on Henry Street. Rescue personnel evaluated the patient on the scene but did not transport.
11:31 a.m. Police went to Kinney Drug store on Executive Drive where a woman was reportedly begging for money and a ride from customers. Police located the woman and escorted her off the property.
4:20 p.m. Child car seat installation and inspection.
8:43 p.m. Police, Fire and Rescue assisted Charlotte Fire and Rescue with a truck fire on Orchard and Bostwick Roads. The occupants of the truck were unharmed. Shelburne Police remained on scene until Vermont State Police arrived. The driver was taken into custody by Vermont State Police for suspicion of DUI.

Sept. 3
9:22 a.m. Rescue and Police to a medical emergency on Mount Philo Road; patient was transported to the hospital.
9:53 a.m. Caller requested a welfare check on a relative on Shelburne Road threatening to harm himself. Police, Rescue and UVM Rescue responded and took the man to the hospital.
10 a.m. Police checked out a report of gunshots in the Bacon Drive area, but they were unable to locate the source.
12:37 p.m. Medical emergency on Hullcrest Road. Rescue and Police responded and took a patient to the hospital.
3:51 p.m. Police checked out a report of an unwanted guest refusing to leave Harbor Place on Shelburne Road. Police were unable to locate the individual.
4:38 p.m. Police assisted an individual on Covington Lane who reported locking keys in a vehicle.
6:49 p.m. Animal control notified about a barking dog on Bay Road.
9:43 p.m. Police located a driver on Spear Street reportedly driving erratically. The driver was identified and released.
10:16 p.m. During a traffic stop on Spear Street, a driver was found to be under criminal license suspension. Brandon Gestner, age 23 of Burlington, was taken to the station and released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division to answer to the charge of driving while license suspended.
10:41 p.m. Police checked out a report of a suspicious vehicle near the Days Inn on Shelburne Road. Officers located the vehicle, identified the occupants and released them.
11:54 p.m. Medical emergency at Harbor Place on Shelburne Road; police took the patient to the hospital.

Sept. 4
6:57 a.m. Rescue to a medical call on Butternut Lane; patient transported to the hospital.
11 a.m. Rescue to a medical call at Pine Haven Shores Road at Shelburne Bay; patient was transported to the hospital.
1:36 p.m. Shelburne Rescue assisted Burlington Rescue at a motor vehicle crash with injuries at I-89 and Shelburne Road. Shelburne Rescue took one patient to the hospital.
4:28 p.m. Rescue and Police dispatched to a medical emergency at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road; patient was transported to the hospital.
7:42 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue, Police along with Charlotte Fire, Hinesburg Fire and UVM Rescue responded to reports of fire and smoke in a building on Bishop Road. The source of the smoke was located outside – in a compost pile –and extinguished.

Sept. 5
6:30 a.m. A 911 caller report an erratic motorist on Shelburne Road and provided a vehicle description and license plate. Police located and stopped the vehicle, identifying and releasing the driver.
7:30 a.m. Fire and Rescue to a false fire alarm on Falls Road.
8:48 p.m. Rescue responded to a medical emergency at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road and took a patient to the hospital.

Sept. 6
1:40 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police with a commercial motor vehicle stop and inspection at the rest area on I-89 in Williston. The truck was placed out of service.
1:38 p.m. A fraud report was taken from a caller on Air Park Road. Police are investigating.
1:39 p.m. Rescue responded to a medical emergency on Butternut Lane and took a patient to the hospital.
2:08 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Chittenden Family Court with service of an abuse prevention order at Harbor Place on Shelburne Road.
2:53 p.m. Rescue responded to a medical emergency at Wake Robin and took a patient to the hospital.
5:14 p.m. Police did a welfare check on an individual on Bay Road, determining that the person was fine and in the care of a responsible adult.
5:17 p.m. Shelburne Police were dispatched to a minor two-car motor vehicle crash on Falls and Marsett roads. The drivers exchanged information on their own, with no investigation needed.
6 p.m. Fire, Rescue and Police were dispatched to a possible gas leak on Falls Road. The hazard was mitigated by the appropriate utility company.
6:19 p.m. The fire department responded to a report of an antifreeze spill at Harbor Road and Shelburne Road. The hazard was removed.
7:33 p.m. A caller reported hearing individuals yelling in the wooded area of Lilly Creek Lane. Police checked the area but were unable to locate anyone.
9:06 p.m. Police escorted a man who refused to leave North Star Motel on Shelburne Road.
11:07 p.m. Police checked on suspicious vehicles at the Shelburne Bay Access on Bay Road. The occupants were identified, and one driver was found in violation of court-ordered conditions of release. David Pullman, age 31 of Vergennes, was taken into custody and released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, to answer to the charge of violation of conditions of release.

Sept. 7
2:53 a.m. Police stopped a tractor-trailer at Ridgefield Road and Shelburne Road for a commercial vehicle inspection. It was towed for safety reasons.
10:50 a.m. A 911 caller reported an erratic motorist and provided a vehicle description but police were unable to locate the vehicle.
1:05 p.m. Police checked out a report of a stray dog at Boulder Hill Drive and Webster Road. The animal had been located and reunited with the owner prior to officers’ arrival.
1:42 p.m. Police returned a wallet dropped off after being found on Bay Road.
3:14 p.m. A caller reported a minor crash in a parking lot on Shelburne Road. There were no injuries. Drivers exchanged information on their own; no investigation needed.
10:45 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Williston Police with a commercial vehicle safety check at the Williston rest stop on I-89.

Sept. 8
6:50 a.m. Shelburne Rescue to Shelburne Road for a medical emergency; patient transported to UVM Medical Center.
9:38 a.m. A woman stopped in to report possible stalking by a customer. Various safety options were discussed with her and police took a report. Police are investigating.
9:53 a.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety on Dorset Street near Barstow Road.
5:53 p.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety in the area of Barstow Road and Cheesefactory Road.
8:30 p.m. A caller reported receiving harassing phone calls at her place of employment on Shelburne Road. Police are investigating.

Sept. 9
9:45 a.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety on Dorset Street near Barstow Road.
10:55 a.m. UVM Rescue and Shelburne Police responded to a medical emergency at Mariners Cove. UVM Rescue transported the patient to the hospital.
1:15 p.m. Animal control notified about a dog loose at the Commons on Shelburne Road but the officer was unable to locate the dog.
1:15 p.m. Officers enforced speed and traffic safety in the area of Mount Philo Road and Maplewood Drive.
1:51 p.m. Police were dispatched to a 911 hang up on Shelburne Road. The caller was transported to the hospital for an evaluation.
3:25 p.m. Shelburne Rescue transported a patient to the hospital from a medical call at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores.

Sept. 10
4:42 a.m. Police checked on two individuals behaving erratically on Shelburne Road. Both were identified and released.
9:57 a.m. Speed and traffic safety were enforced in the area of Mount Philo Road and Falls Road.
10:54 a.m. A caller from Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road reported fraudulent transactions on a credit card. Police are investigating.
11 a.m. Officer enforced speed and traffic safety on Dorset Street.
11:06 a.m. Police responded to a minor two-car motor vehicle crash in a parking lot on Shelburne Road. Statements were taken and a State Crash Report completed.
11:09 a.m. A caller reported unwanted contact by a former associate. Police issued a no-trespass notice.
12:01 p.m. Minor two-car crash at Shelburne Road and Harbor Road. Police spoke with everyone involved and completed a State Crash Report.
2:56 p.m. A caller on Shelburne Road reported that an irate male had just left their place of business. Shelburne Police located the man, then identified and released him.
5:01 p.m. Police received a report of a turtle interfering with traffic on Cheesefactory Road. Upon arrival, the turtle had crossed safely and was no longer a traffic concern.

Sept. 11
7:18 a.m. Rescue responded to a medical emergency at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road and took a patient to the hospital.
7:44 a.m. Rescue and UVM Rescue responded to Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road for a medical emergency; UVM Rescue took a patient to the hospital.
1:35 p.m. Rescue and Police were dispatched for a medical emergency at Harbor Place on Shelburne Road; rescue took a patient to the hospital.
2:09 p.m. Police responded to Gardenside Lane where a woman reported that she believed someone may have entered her home although nothing appeared to be missing. Police confirmed no one was inside.
2:41 p.m. South Burlington Rescue requested assistance with a medical call on Shelburne Road in South Burlington, but cancelled the request prior to Shelburne Rescue’s arrival.
5:32 p.m. Rescue responded to a medical call at Wake Robin and took a patient to the hospital.
6:21 p.m. A caller from Henry Street reported damage that occurred to his vehicle some time ago. Police took a statement for insurance purposes only.
7:23 p.m. Police and Rescue checked out a report of an injured person on Shelburne Road; rescue took the person to the hospital.
7:53 p.m. A caller on Ockert Lane reported unwanted contacted by a former associate. Shelburne Police spoke with the person involved and issued a notice of trespass.
8:03 p.m. Police checked out a report of a woman who appeared to be in distress outside the Quality Inn on Shelburne Road. When police arrived, she was gone but her belongings were left behind.
8:45 p.m. Police investigated a report of a neighbor dispute on Harrington Avenue. Police found that no crime had occurred. A report was forwarded to Community Outreach for follow up.

Sept. 12
2:42 a.m. Rescue and Police responded to a medical emergency at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road and took a patient to the hospital.
3:41 a.m. Shelburne Police and Charlotte Rescue were dispatched to a medical emergency on Nashville Road; the Charlotte crew took the patient to the hospital.
3:56 a.m. Police responded to Shelburne Road in South Burlington for a report of an intoxicated woman passed out on a lawn. Police located her and took her to detox.
7:45 a.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety in the area of Mount Philo Road.
8:28 a.m. Rescue to a medical call at Shelburne Bay on Pine Haven Shores Road. A patient was transported to the hospital.
12:43 p.m. A caller reported someone harassing a landscaping crew on Morgan Drive. Police responded and spoke with the parties involved.
1:03 p.m. Police, Fire and Rescue responded to a two-car crash on Falls Road and Church Street. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained significant damage and were towed from the scene. Police spoke with all involved and filed a State Crash Report.
6:24 p.m. At a traffic stop on lower Webster Road, a driver was found to be under criminal license suspension. Jacob Clark, age 26 of Hinesburg, was issued a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Criminal Division to answer to the charge of driving while license suspended.
9:08 p.m. Rescue responded to a medical emergency on Covington Lane and took a patient to the hospital.

Sept. 13
2:38 a.m. A 911 caller reported a suicidal woman at the Days Inn on Shelburne Road. Police and Rescue responded and took the patient to the hospital.
1:12 p.m. Police checked out a report of a trailer parked in the roadway on Collamer Circle. They found the owner who indicated it would be moved.
3:47 p.m. Police checked out a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at Hullcrest Park on Pinehurst Drive. Police found and identified the driver and found no suspicious activity.
5:04 p.m. UVM Rescue was dispatched to a medical emergency on Birch Road and took a patient to the hospital.
8:06 p.m. Rescue and Police were dispatched to a medical emergency at Harbor Place and rescue took a patient to the hospital.
8:53 p.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety along Mount Philo Road and Falls Road.
9:03 p.m. Police did speed and traffic safety enforcement in the area of Cheesefactory Road and Dorset Street.

Sept. 14
3:48 a.m. Shelburne Police assisted Burlington Police in locating people involved with the discharge of a firearm on Shelburne Road near Price Chopper. The individuals responsible were located; Shelburne Police also found a firearm.
7:12 a.m. Rescue and Police responded to a medical emergency on Locust Hill Road. The patient was evaluated on the scene but not transported.
7:53 a.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety in the area of Shelburne Road and Falls Road.
8:23 a.m. Police checked out a report of an apparent untimely death on Monarch Road. They notified the medical examiner’s office. The death was determined to be not suspicious.
8:42 a.m. Police checked out a theft report from Village Mobil and located the individual involved; they issued the individual a trespass notice.
2:30 p.m. Multiple 911 callers reported a vehicle operating erratically on Greenbush Road and Ferry Road in Charlotte. Shelburne Police located and stopped the vehicle on Greenbush Road, not far from the Shelburne town line. It appeared the driver was experiencing a medical emergency. Charlotte Rescue took the driver to the hospital.
3:28 p.m. Rescue and Police were dispatched to a medical emergency on Shelburne Road and took a patient to the hospital.
4:13 p.m. Fire, Rescue and Police responded to and extinguished a small brush fire on A caller reported a small brush fire on Bay Road.
5:08 p.m. Police served an abuse prevention order on Harrington Avenue.
5:21 p.m. State police requested police and Coast Guard to assist with a possible boating while intoxicated incident at Shelburne Shipyard. No further assistance was required.
5:44 p.m. Police responded to a minor two-car crash in the parking lot at Shelburne Plaza. Police took statements and information was exchanged.
11:26 p.m. Police enforced speed and traffic safety in the area of Spear Street and Irish Hill Road.
