Traffic is moving slowly along Falls Road where crews are beginning to mill and pave near the LaPlatte River Bridge.
Town officials continue to remind local residents and motorists to avoid the area if possible because delays are inevitable.
The ongoing project involves replacing aging sewer lines and improving some stormwater infrastructure.
Sewer line work continues near the intersection of Falls Road and Mount Philo Road.
Project officials are aiming to complete work for the season by the end of the month.
The paving completed before winter will be a “base course,” said Interim Town Manager Lee Krohn. The town will complete paving on Falls Road in spring 2019.
