• In a story in the Nov. 15 edition of Shelburne News, Pierson Library’s fundraising numbers were incorrect. As of Monday, the library’s fundraising subcommittee has raised over $1 million, of which $600,000 will reduce the total amount of the project’s bond. The remaining $400,000 will be added to the project’s total spending.

• In a story in the Nov. 15 edition of Shelburne News, a quotation was incorrectly attributed to Patrick McKee, president and chief executive of Wake Robin. It was Shelburne Police Officer Bob Lake who at an event on Nov. 13 recalled last year’s ricin incident at the retirement community. Lake said: “They Googled ricin and said, ‘Holy s—,’ after seeing what it was, and contacted the chief and told him, ‘Holy s—,’ and then the panic button was pushed.”
