1:06 p.m. Police transported an intoxicated man from North Star Motel on Shelburne Road to detox.
2:44 p.m. Police assisted Vermont State Police at a citizen dispute at Mountains Edge in Charlotte.
3:08 p.m. Police found Joshua Wells, 27, of Swanton in violation of a court order at Harbor Place. He was released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, for Violation of Abuse Prevention Order.

7:52 a.m. Police are investigating a fraud complaint on Westview Drive.
10:29 a.m. The animal control officer was notified of an animal bite on Shelburne Road.
4:01 p.m. Police helped install a child’s car seat.
7:01 p.m. Police stopped an erratic driver on Ethan Allen Highway.
8:47 p.m. Police assisted South Burlington Police with a road rage incident on Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
9:23 p.m. Police escorted an individual off a residential property on Falls Road.
10:48 p.m. Police helped a person with a domestic issue at Harbor Place.

8:30 a.m. Police assisted an oversized delivery truck on Harbor Road.
10:17 a.m. Police check a house on Bishop Road to make sure it was secure.
12:11 p.m. Police checked on a dog locked in a car at Shelburne Museum. The dog was O.K.
12:16 p.m. Police assisted Chittenden Family Court with service of an abuse prevention order.

1:04 a.m. Police found a group of people near Shelburne Museum.
4:13 a.m. Police are investigating a stolen car from Indiana found at Bay Access.
6:49 a.m. Police are investigating a burglary from a business at Bay Plaza on Shelburne Road.
1:55 p.m. Police and outreach staff helped a man at the baseball fields near the municipal campus.
7:16 p.m. Police responded to an individual acting strangely at the Almartin Volvo dealership. He was gone before police arrived.
9:43 p.m. Police assisted Chittenden Family Court serve a restraining order on Henry Street.
10:37 p.m. Police talked to some people in a car on Shelburne Road, which seemed suspicious.

8:55 a.m. Police assisted Burlington Police with a car crash on Shelburne Road and Flynn Avenue in Burlington.
11:57 a.m. Police are investigating a report from a business owner on Shelburne Road about a bad check.
3:45 p.m. Police served a trespass notice and escorted a woman away from Harbor Place.
9:53 p.m. A 911 cellular caller wanted to report a domestic disturbance, but was unable to provide any additional information before the call was disconnected. The officers checked the area near Juniper Ridge and Shelburne Road, but were unable to find anything.

Oct. 12
10:15 a.m. Police stopped an erratic driver on Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
11:23 a.m. Police removed a telephone line that was hanging too low on Falls Road and notified the telephone company.
3:41 p.m. Animal control was contacted about a dog bite on Wes Road.
4:33 p.m. Police stopped a car on Spear Street that was described by a 911-caller.
5:02 p.m. Police helped a driver whose car broke down on Shelburne Hinesburg Road.

Oct. 13
2:47 p.m. Police checked Longmeadow Drive for a suspicious car. They did not locate it.
3:15 p.m. Police installed a child’s car seat.
5:23 p.m. Police conducted a welfare check on a Harrington Avenue resident.
7:10 p.m. Police issued a verbal warning about disorderly conduct to a man on Harrington Avenue.
8:42 p.m. Police responded to a 911 call on Martindale Road for a domestic dispute. It was solved by the time police got there.
8:55 p.m. Police took an intoxicated man on Olde Orchard Lane to detox.
10:59 p.m. Police talked with a woman about a case in Newton, Mass.

Oct. 14
2:59 a.m. Police helped South Burlington Police with a disorderly man at the Shelburne Road Denny’s.
4:04 p.m. Police took statements from drivers involved in a two-car crash on Shelburne Road. There were no injuries.
4:40 p.m. A woman reported a man trying to enter her car on Shelburne Road. When police arrived the man was gone.
5:17 p.m. Police found and put down an injured goose on Spear Street.

Oct. 15
8:50 a.m. An officer was called to Harrington Avenue because of a suspicious car. Police located the owner, who was a neighbor.
4:37 p.m. A woman’s car was damaged by a railroad crossing gate on Windmill Bay Road. Police took a statement for insurance and notified Vermont Railway.
5:08 p.m. Police removed debris from Shelburne Road near the intersection with Bay Road.
5:19 p.m. Police stopped a suspicious vehicle on Shelburne Road.
5:25 p.m. Police stopped a suspicious vehicle on Bay Road.
5:49 p.m. Police found and put down an injured goose on Shelburne Road.
7:49 p.m. Shelburne Fire assisted Hinesburg Fire at a water rescue call on Lake Iroquois in Hinesburg.

Oct. 16
6:29 a.m. Police assisted South Burlington Police with a car crash on Shelburne Road in South Burlington.
7:33 a.m. Police checked near Pet Food Warehouse on Shelburne Road for a suspicious car.
8:09 a.m. A man brought a laptop he found on Shelburne Road to the police station. The police returned it to its owner.
4:10 p.m. Police responded to a two-car crash on Dorset Street near Barstow Road. There were no injuries.
6:38 p.m. Police helped a woman who locked her keys in her car at the Days Inn on Shelburne Road.
7:53 p.m. Police checked but didn’t find a person reportedly yelling on Harrington Avenue.
8:31 p.m. Police are investigating threats made to a woman on Harrington Avenue.

4:36 p.m. Police checked on a suspicious car on Autumn Hill Lane. The individuals were identified and released.
5:20 p.m. Police took statements from drivers involved in a two-car crash on Shelburne Road. There were no injuries.
5:43 p.m. Police issued a no trespass order to an individual trespassing at the Wright House on Harrington Avenue.
11:12 p.m. Police responded to a 911 call for an erratic driver on Harrington Avenue, but could not locate the car.

Oct. 18
9:06 a.m. Fire, rescue, police and Charlotte Fire responded to a call for smoke in a building on Maplewood Drive. The hazard was removed.
9:23 a.m. Police are investigating a fraud complaint on Green Hills Drive.
9:54 a.m. Police are investigating a theft from a residence on Harrington Avenue.
6:38 p.m. Police are investigating a theft from a residence on Penny Lane.
9:19 p.m. Police checked Shelburne Road because someone reported a person looking into vehicles. Police could not find anyone.

Oct. 19
1:13 a.m. Police talked to people in a car parked at Kwiniaska on Spear Street.
1:19 a.m. Police asked a man to stop being disorderly on Harrington Avenue.
10:21 a.m. Police are investigating a burglary from a child care center on Shelburne Road.
10:49 a.m. Police are investigating a fraud complaint from a resident on Harbor Road.
7:13 a.m. Fire, rescue and police responded to a false fire alarm at Shelburne Farms
9:12 a.m. Police assisted UVM police with an harassment complaint.

Oct. 20
8:29 a.m. Police, fire, rescue and Charlotte Fire and rescue were dispatched to a sailboat run aground. There was no emergency or any injuries.
10:32 a.m. Police are investigating a burglary from a Shelburne Road business.
12:35 p.m. Police are investigating vandalism on Nashville Road.
1:14 p.m. Police took a man into protective custody after breaking up a family fight on Ridgefield Road. They transported him to the hospital.
3:40 p.m. Police and rescue responded to a welfare check on a camper at Shelburne Campground.
10:12 p.m. Police cited Susan Moegenburg, 51, of Shelburne, with Driving Under the Influence.

Oct. 21
12:16 p.m. Fire, rescue and police responded to Locust Hill where they extinguished on oven fire; there were no injuries.
12:22 p.m. Police, fire, rescue and Charlotte Rescue responded to a two-car crash on Shelburne Road. All involved refused transport to the hospital.

Oct. 22
1:16 p.m. Police issued a trespass notice to a person on Pine Haven Shores Road.
1:47 p.m. Police escorted a man off a bus stopped near the Shelburne Bay Plaza on Shelburne Road.

Oct. 23
10:58 a.m. A driver hit a traffic control worker on Falls Road who was taken to UVM Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle involved was screened for possible impairment and police are investigating.
1:58 p.m. Police helped someone get into their car on Shelburne Road.
5:16 p.m. Police checked Henry Street for a reported suspicious person. They did not find anyone.
6:23 p.m. Police conducted extra patrols on Harbor Road at the request of Shelburne Shipyard.
7:55 p.m. Police conducted a welfare check on a Champlain Drive resident.

Oct. 24
2:03 p.m. Police are investigating a theft from a home on Green Hills Drive.

Oct. 25
11:15 a.m. Police took a statement from a person who received a threat after an argument on Birch Road.
6:45 p.m. Police issued a trespass notice to a person on Harrington Avenue.
6:57 p.m. Police pulled over a suspicious car on Gardenside Lane.
7:14 p.m. Police are investigating a reported theft from a home at Wake Robin.

Oct. 26
7:57 a.m. Police were called about a car passing a school bus, which was stopped with its lights on. Police checked Harbor Road for the car described, but could not find it.
9:55 a.m. Police told a man on Harrington Avenue who was yelling and throwing trash to quiet down and pick up the trash.
10:01 a.m. Stopped and ticketed a driver who passed a school bus that was stopped with its lights on.
11:29 a.m. Police mediated a dispute involving a Morse Drive resident cutting a tree on a neighbor’s property.
3:29 p.m. Police are investigating a theft of a Quality Inn employee’s wallet.
5:33 p.m. Police responded to a two-car crash on Shelburne Road. There were no injuries.
10:42 p.m. Shelburne Police assisted Vermont State Police at a possible underage drinking party on Pease Mountain Road in Charlotte.
