Dec. 1
2:28 a.m. A caller reported a suspicious person in the area of Harbor Place on Shelburne Road. Police checked the area but did not locate anyone.
10:54 a.m. A caller reported finding a debit card in the area of Wright House on Harrington Avenue. Police located the item and returned it to the owner.
1:38 p.m. Fire, Rescue and Police responded to Beaver Creek Road after a caller reported a strong smell of gas in a home. The hazard was removed.
4:31 p.m. An officer located a suspicious vehicle at Bostwick and Beach roads. All occupants were identified and released.
8:32 p.m. Police took a statement regarding a one-car crash with no injuries on Shelburne Road at Longmeadow Drive.
9:45 p.m. A caller on LaPlatte Circle reported strong smell of gas in the area. Shelburne Fire, Rescue, Police and Charlotte Fire were dispatched. Vermont Gas was notified and the hazard was removed.

Dec. 2
1:36 a.m. An officer conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on Shelburne Road.
4:54 a.m. A caller on Morse Drive reported a loud party at a neighbor’s home. A police officer located the party and spoke with the homeowner about the noise.
10 p.m. Police assisted Hinesburg Police with a domestic disturbance on North Road in Hinesburg.

Dec. 3
7:40 a.m. Police responded to a two-car crash on Shelburne Road near Longmeadow Drive with no injuries. Statements were taken from all individuals involved and a state crash report was completed.
12:16 p.m. Shelburne Fire, Rescue, and Police and Charlotte Fire responded to what was determined to be a false fire alarm on Harbor Road.
1:34 p.m. A caller reported theft of an employee’s property at the Arbors on Harbor Road. A theft report was taken and the case is under investigation.
10:04 p.m. Police were called to Harbor Place for a report of a disorderly man refusing to leave the property. Police took the man into protective custody; he was transported to the hospital to be evaluated.

Dec. 4
11:02 p.m. A caller on Simmons Drive reported receiving threatening calls and messages. Police took a harassment report and the case is under investigation.

Dec. 5
2:40 a.m. An officer conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on Shelburne Road near Vermont Teddy Bear Co.
3:27 a.m. A caller requested a welfare check on a friend at Wake Robin. Police were dispatched and contacted the individual, who appeared to be fine.
7:28 a.m. A caller reported that a dog was struck by a vehicle and still in roadway near the intersection of Vermont 116 and Pond Road. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the animal or a vehicle.
7:53 a.m. A caller on Morgan Drive requested assistance in retrieving her home keys from a cat sitter. Police located the cat sitter and retrieved the property.
3:32 p.m. Police located Nathan Hull, 29, of Burlington, wanted for an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court. They took him to the police station for processing. He was later lodged at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.
5:17 p.m. Police took a statement for insurance purposes only regarding a two-car accident earlier in the day on Shelburne Road.
8:23 p.m. Police assisted South Burlington Police at an assault complaint at Beacon Place in South Burlington.

Dec. 6
12:04 a.m. An officer issued winter parking ban warnings to vehicles parked on the street.
12:18 a.m. A police officer located a suspicious vehicle on Spear Street near Kwiniaska Golf Course. All occupants were identified and released.
1:25 p.m. Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive reported a theft. Police responded, located the individual involved and issued that person a citation for retail theft.
7:18 a.m. A caller reported a dead deer in roadway at Webster and Shelburne roads. An officer located and removed the animal.

Dec. 7
12:41 a.m. An officer issued winter parking ban warnings on vehicles parked in the street on Shelburne Road.
12:01 p.m. A caller from a Shelburne Road business reported a retail theft from his business. Police responded but were unable to locate the suspected individual. Police took a theft report and the case is under investigation.
4:13 p.m. Police did a background check after a military recruiter requested one for a new recruit.
8:37 p.m. Shelburne Fire assisted Ferrisburgh Fire at a structure fire on U.S. Route 7 in Ferrisburgh.
10:33 p.m. An officer conducted a commercial motor vehicle inspection on Shelburne Road near Vermont Teddy Bear Co.
