Shelburne man charged with DUI after I-89 traffic stop

Vermont State Police arrested and charged a Shelburne man with driving under the influence early last Saturday morning.

According to a police news release, at 12:35 a.m. Trooper Andrew Underwood stopped a vehicle driven by Dylan Verchereau, age 23 of Shelburne, that was headed southbound on Interstate 89 in Williston. Police said Verchereau showed signs of impairment. He was taken back to the barracks and cited to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court, Criminal Division on Feb. 14 to answer to the DUI charge.
