Shelburne business group event at vineyard

Dreaming of beginning a new business in Shelburne? Come hear about a dream come true.

During the “Envisioning Shelburne’s Future” discussions hosted by Shelburne Business & Professional Association last fall, it was clear that there is a very real role for local businesses to play as mentors and informal advisors for those considering beginning or expanding businesses in town.

On Monday, March 25, members of SBPA and anyone interested in strengthening the local economy is invited to a program at Shelburne Vineyard at 6 p.m., when co-founders of Shelburne Vineyard Ken and Gail Albert will share lessons learned as they developed a new business, a type never proposed before in Shelburne, and worked with the town to become the success it is today. Town Manager Lee Krohn will also be part of the panel.

The meeting will also be an opportunity for current SBPA members to renew their annual membership, learn about plans for the new SBPA webpage, currently under construction, and hear about plans for the annual April SBPA meeting at Palmer’s Sugar House, April 29, always a “sweet” event. And potential new members are welcome to come with their questions.
