Animal licensing due April 1

Spring is here! It’s wonderful to see life bursting from the ground. And it’s also wonderful to see everyone when you come in to license your pets. To have a little fun while adhering to our State requirements, we are holding our third annual Shelburne Cat and Dog of the Year award. We display your pet’s photo in the office and on our website. We have fun prizes from local sponsors. We will be drawing the winner at the first selectboard meeting in April. Please register your cats and dogs by April 1 to be entered in the drawing. All cats and dogs 3 months of age and older must be vaccinated against rabies and licensed in the Town Clerk’s Office by April 1. The State requires keeping a current rabies certificate on file. Cash or check only. Open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pets are welcome; and get a treat while we issue their license. For more information please visit our website: http://www.shelburnevt.org/216/Animal-Licensing. We look forward to seeing you soon!
