Aug. 10
12:40 a.m. An officer observed suspicious activity at the old Rice Lumber building on Shagbark Road. Officers located and identified an individual on the property.
6:57 p.m. An individual reported that damage occurred to his vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot at Shelburne Road and Cynosure Drive. The other vehicle involved had apparently left. Police investigated and located the other vehicle and driver and filed a crash report.

Aug. 11
1:09 p.m. Police were called to Davis Park on School street where juveniles were reportedly skateboarding on recently surfaced tennis courts. Police located and spoke with the youngsters who left when asked.
2:57 p.m. An individual from Ockert Lane came into the police station to report having been attacked by a neighbor’s dog on a previous day. Police took a statement and notified animal control.

Aug. 12
1:44 p.m. At a commercial vehicle inspection on Allen Road and Baycrest Drive, police placed a driver out of service due to improper licensing.
2:04 p.m. Police served an abuse prevention order to an individual on Penny Lane.
4:02 p.m. Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive reported a theft. Police located the individual in question and issued a trespass notice.
7:29 p.m. A caller at the Dutch Mill on Shelburne Road reported an individual possibly having a mental health crisis. The individual was taken into protective custody and transported UVM Medical Center.
9:56 p.m. Police, fire and rescue were dispatched to a call that someone heard a possible car crash near Hinesburg Road and Dorset Street. One vehicle was located off the road. The driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Aug. 13
2:56 p.m. Police are investigating the theft of an outboard motor on Harbor Road.

Aug. 14
12:30 p.m. A caller from Shelburne Road reported that an individual using his identity had fraudulently obtained money from his bank account. Police took a fraud report and are investigating.
3:41 p.m. A caller on Falls Road reported a possible fraudulent check. Police took a fraud report and are investigating.
3:57 p.m. Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive reported a theft that occurred a few days before. The individual involved was identified and located by police who issued a trespass notice.

Aug. 15
1:38 p.m. Police were called to Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive for a fight in the parking lot where one man got out of a vehicle and reportedly assaulted another man on foot. The pedestrian was uninjured but the vehicle left before police arrived. Investigation is continuing.
9:14 p.m. Police checked out a call from Hedgerow Drive about fireworks but determined they had occurred over the town line in South Burlington.
10:15 p.m. Police were called to the Bay Access on Bay Road where several individuals had abandoned a boat. Police determined that the boat had been stolen locally and several other boats had been rummaged through. Investigation is continuing.

Aug. 16
9:14 a.m. At a commercial vehicle inspection on Shelburne Road near Vermont Teddy Bear Co., police found a vehicle to be overweight and took enforcement action.
11:55 p.m. A caller on Harbor Road reported possible gunshots in the area. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the source.
