Aug. 31
2:10 a.m. On Mt. Philo Road, an officer stopped Jason Shattie of Charlotte, age 40, for a traffic violation. He was taken into the police station and charged with driving under the influence and cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division.
12:07 p.m. An individual came into the police station to report unauthorized use of his lost or stolen credit card. After investigation, police charged Chrystal M. Rossi, age 34 of Shelburne, with fraudulent use of a credit card and cited Rossi to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division.

Sept. 1
4:42 a.m. A caller reported that a few vehicles parked on Clearwater Road had been entered and items had been removed from them. Nearly all items were recovered on a neighboring lawn.
9:55 a.m. Police checked out a report of an individual camping on private property on Lily Creek Lane without permission. The violator was identified, and police are investigating.
11:56 a.m. An individual reported that his vehicle was vandalized while it was parked at Shelburne Bay Park on Bay Road. Police are investigating.
12:24 p.m. Police took a report regarding a theft from a vehicle on Quail Way.
8:22 p.m. Police and Rescue responded to a reported family fight on Harrington Avenue. Officers spoke with the individuals involved; Shelburne Rescue evaluated one person. No criminal charges were filed.

Sept. 2
3:13 p.m. Police received word of individuals entering a parking garage on Harrington Avenue and stealing two bicycles. Police responded but found no one. Investigation is continuing.
6 p.m. Police went to Henry Street after receiving a call about a screaming man. Police talked with the man and determined there was no emergency. He agreed to keep the noise down.
8:47 p.m. Police checked out a report of a man sitting on a railroad overpass on Spear Street. When approached, the man ran from police but was later located and identified.

Sept. 3
4:49 p.m. Police took a report from an individual who said they were harassed and threatened via electronic communication.
6:06 a.m. Police were called to Harbor Road where there were cows loose in the road. The owner of the cows was notified.
1:51 p.m. A caller on Harrington Avenue reported a theft from a vehicle. Police are investigating.
4:55 p.m. A caller on Henry Street reported the theft of items from a parking garage. Police are investigating.

Sept. 4
12:55 a.m. Police noticed an unsecured business at Shelburne Shopping Park. They checked and secured the premises.
4:23 a.m. Police assisted with an individual found lying on a sidewalk on Shelburne Road. They gave the person a ride home.
8:58 a.m. Police were called to Vermont Route 116 near Rosewood Drive where cows were in the road. An officer located the animals and notified the owners.

Sept. 5
10:53 p.m. Police were called to Harbor Place on Shelburne Road where an individual was threatening others. Officers spoke with those involved. No charges were filed.
Sept. 6
2:32 a.m. Police were called to Spear Street where a grey Audi driven by Gage Hardy, age 26 of Shelburne, had been headed south when it went off the road and rolled over. Gage was transported to UVM Medical Center to be evaluated for potential injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was evaluated on the scene but not transported. The crash is under investigation.
7:05 a.m. and 7:24 a.m. Police were dispatched to Woodbine Drive where they investigated two reports that items were stolen from vehicles.
7:50 a.m. Police were called to Summit Circle where they took another report of items stolen from a vehicle.
8:01 a.m. Police received a call that cows were out in the road on Harbor Road. On arrival, officers found the owners in the process of apprehending the escapees.
9:02 a.m. Police were called to Shelburne Campground on Shelburne Road for a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle was located in Winooski the next day. Investigation is continuing.
10:48 a.m. Police received another theft report regarding items stolen from a vehicle, this time on Oak Hill Road.
11:55 p.m. Police were called to the Northstar Motel on Shelburne Road where there was a dispute involving a guest. Officers spoke with the individuals involved and found one man to be intoxicated and trespassing on the property. Police transported the individual to detox.
