Sept. 21
12:20 p.m. A loud argument was reported between two people in a vehicle at Shelburne Shopping Park. The vehicle left before police arrived.
9:33 p.m. A gunshot was reported near Beaver Creek Road and Bishop Road. Police checked the area but were unable to find anything.

Sept. 22
1:26 a.m. Police located a person at the Northstar Motel on Shelburne Road who may have been involved in a theft. Investigation is continuing.
1:36 a.m. A gunshot was reported near Beaver Creek Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to find the source of the sound.
6:18 p.m. Police checked on the well-being of a resident on Acorn Lane, and found the person incapacitated and in need of assistance. The person was taken into protective custody and taken to the hospital by Charlotte Rescue.
8:33 p.m. A police officer saw a driver heading the wrong direction on Shelburne Road near the South Burlington city line. The officer stopped the vehicle and took enforcement action; no criminal charges were filed.
11:00 p.m. Suspicious vehicle reported on Harrington Avenue. One person in the vehicle, Theresa Marking, 22, of Essex, was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant issued after she failed to appear in court for an assault and robbery charge. She was taken into custody and held at the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.

Sept. 23
12:12 a.m. Police responded to a 911 hang-up at Harbor Place on Shelburne Road, but did not find an emergency. In the process, they found Dustin Kennett, 33, of Barre, who had multiple warrants for his arrest. He was taken to the Chittenden Regional Correctional Facility.

Sept. 24
6:17 a.m. Police tried but were unable to move a tree blocking Olde Orchard Road. They notified the highway department.
12:49 p.m. Police stopped a vehicle that was driving erratically on Shelburne Road near Ridgefield Road and took enforcement action.

Sept. 25
4:43 p.m. Police saw a tractor-trailer truck stopped alongside Shelburne Road near Cynosure Drive with smoke coming from underneath. Shelburne Fire and Rescue responded. The issue was found to be mechanical, and the hazard was addressed.

Sept. 26
11:58 a.m. Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle and a scooter from Shelburne Community School on Harbor Road.
1:24 p.m. A suspicious man was reported in a parking lot on Pine Haven Shores Road. Police identified the man and issued a trespass notice.
2:38 p.m. Several suspicious people were reported at Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive. Police arrived and identified everyone. One individual suspected of shoplifting was issued a trespass notice.
3:31 p.m. Police assisted with compliance checks for the state Sex Offender Registry.

Sept. 27
11:56 a.m. An individual turned in firearms from a newly acquired property on Shelburne Road.
1:29 p.m. A cyclist was hit by a car on Maple Leaf Lane. Shelburne Police and Rescue responded, took statements and filed a crash report. The cyclist was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
3:26 p.m. A theft was reported at Kinney Drugs on Executive Drive. The suspect left before police arrived. Investigation is continuing.
8:01 p.m. Police checked out a report of a suspicious man outside a business on Shelburne Road. The man was found to be intoxicated, taken to the hospital for evaluation and then transported to detox.
