Both Shelburne Community School articles presented in Shelburne’s special meeting passed. Thirty-five percent of registered voters voted. The school roof replacement $2.39 million bond passed with more than 80 percent of voters in favor of the project. Those under the age of 11 must now be supervised by someone 14 or older at the Pierson Library. The change was made due to the number of children being left unsupervised after school. In addition to the SCS bond vote, two other issues will be facing voters on Nov. 3. The items, each for $3 million, are bonds for Bay Road Bridge replacement and a bond for Wastewater Department system and facility upgrades.
