Latest attempt to delay hazardous materials ordinance rejected

The Shelburne Selectboard rejected the latest calls on behalf of residents and businesses to either delay or revise a controversial newly enacted hazardous materials ordinance. At its Aug. 22 meeting, the Selectboard voted 4-1 to hire a construction management firm for the proposed library and Town Hall project. Board member Josh Dein cast the dissenting vote. The vote was incorrectly reported in the Aug. 24 Shelburne News.

Selectboard debates, passes hazmat and truck ordinances
