John Levinsky, 87, of Burlington and formerly of Pittsfield, Mass. died Feb. 15, 2010 following a brief illness. John was born on Dec. 5, 1922, in Hinsdale, Mass. to Nicholas and Catherine Levinsky. John graduated from Pittsfield High School. On Nov. 24, 1949, John married Jane Labroad. She predeceased him in 2009. He retired from General Electric after 45 years of service as a tool and die maker. Among his survivors is a son Mark of Shelburne and Mark’s children, Sarah, Matthew, and Paige.
