The Arbors at Shelburne to host Caring and Sharing Program

Individuals and families facing the early stages of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias are invited to participate in a Caring and Sharing support group series. The Arbors at Shelburne and Armistead Caregiver Services will host the series from 9:30-11 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. The Arbors at Shelburne is located at 687 Harbor Rd., Shelburne.

 

On Wednesday, March 17, author Deanna Shapiro will discuss, "Pampering the Caregiver," a discussion on a family's journey through Alzheimer's and how visits with a loved one inspired "Conversations at the Nursing Home, a Mother, a Daughter, and Alzheimer's."

 

The programs are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Seating is limited. Please RSVP by calling The Arbors at Shelburne at 985-8600.
