The Vermont Glades Squirt team won the Tier I Regional Championships held in Smithfield, Rhode Island March 5-7. The Glades become the first Vermont Squirt team and only the third Vermont team to ever win a Tier I Regional tournament. This is the first title for Vermont since Barre won the Midget Tier I Regionals in 1996.

Vermont won the championship with a 3-1 win over the Mid Fairfield Blues.

The lone Shelburne resident on the Glades squirt team is Dickie Hall.
