Live music helped set the mood for frolicking in the sunshine.

Shelburne's Winter Farmers Market adapted itself seamlessly in the face of, er, changing market conditions last Saturday, as the weather report predicted record-breaking warm temperatures and an abundance of sunshine.

Market organizer Tod Whittaker was thrilled with his decision, as were the 20 vendors who set up tables on the Village Green. "It was glorious," Whittaker exclaimed when asked how the vendors fared by relocating the final winter market of the season from the Town gym location to the brilliant sunshine. "Attendance and sales rivaled that of our mid-summer season."
